Beautifully made board - ideal gift for our food-loving neighbor. Can be displayed with great satisfaction. Excellent communications with seller and very speedy shipping. Arrived well packed and ahead of schedule.

This is a beautiful piece, well made from a sturdy, thick slice of solid maple. The board arrived feeling soft as silk, and I am amazed at how hard the wood is- while I am expecting it to build up knife marks over its lifetime of use, my knives have yet to scratch it! I always make sure to dry it standing up on the long side, so that the water doesn't soak up through the end grain (i'm told this is how boards turn black). It is a treasure, and a perfectly modern silhouette that nods to traditional shapes, fitting in with my 18th century home, while staying funky, geometric, and cheerily light (love the maple!) in a sort of scandinavian-modern style. Fast shipping and personal communication from seller, too. Thank you, Fine Artist Made!
