About

New Work

After twenty years making jewellery, mainly in resin and silver, I was in need of a new challenge. A move to Scotland in 2013 gave me the opportunity to reassess my practice. I began to experiment with new materials and ideas. The result is a new range of polypropylene and silver jewellery, which uses my own technique to blend colours, creating light-weight, wearable jewellery.

Largely self taught, I have been making jewellery for 20 years. I am a materials led designer and love nothing better than to play with my chosen material. I am always wondering "what else can I do with that?"

My new polypropylene jewellery is the result of much experimenting. I am particularly motivated by colour, light and transparency. The pieces are inspired by water, microscopic life and geology.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalised orders

I am happy to take custom orders, but please be aware that due to the nature of my process every item will be slightly different. Colours and sizes will vary.

Special Offers

Many of the pieces available in my etsy shop will be samples and test pieces. They are of course made to the same high standards, but will enable you to buy my work at a lower price than the full retail prices.

Care instructions

Polypropylene is a strong material and my items are more robust than they might first appear. They can be washed with warm soapy water if necessary.

Shipping

Please note that lower value items (orders under £50) will be sent First Class Royal Mail or Air Mail. Orders over £50 will be sent via a service with tracking. I will send you the code with your dispatch note.
