Announcement   Welcome to FiredEarthEtc. I make both functional Art and non-functional art type bowls and vessels as well as photographs. (no photos currently as moving within several more months and they are all packed) As you can see, I enjoy using many colors, textures and carving on my pottery, and as I don't take notes, each design is an original. I work intuitively not knowing exactly what the outcome will be. Living on the edge suits my personality as I'm constantly discovering new designs to make which makes it all the more fun for me. (Yes, I am all over the place, but sticking to one color or item isn't as much fun for me) All my functional pieces are glazed with non-leaded glazes and all are oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe.

If I can answer any questions or you need assistance of any kind, please feel free to convo me.

Thank you for visiting my shop.

It was beautiful, the pictures didn't do the subtle colors and craftsmanship justice. Even though it looks pretty in the picture. Very accommodating on the shipping and they went out of the way to make sure I received it before Christmas. THANKS for everything.

This is the MOST BEAUTIFUL vessel I have seen! The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding. It's displayed in our formal living area and I consistently received compliments. This piece would've cost me double anywhere else! I will be purchasing more!!!!!

Welcome to my shop! I enjoy working with various colors (underglazes), sgrafitto designs (carving into the underglaze to the clay beneath so the color of the clay will show up), Raku firings and painting designs on the clay .You'll see a variety of pieces.. Taking notes didn't work for me, so all my underglazing designs and colors will be one of a kind. I tend to work intuitively so many times I'm not sure what the end result will be when I start a piece. That's the fun of designing for me, surprises at the end.

Because so many of my pieces are individually hand carved or painted, the cost is reflected in the time spent which can take many hours on larger pieces. But you'll know you are getting a one of a kind handcrafted functional art piece.

Payment
PayPal is preferred method of payment. Payment is expected within within 3 days of your purchase via PayPal. If I do not receive payment, I will send you an email letting you know the purchase will be canceled in 24 hours if payment is not received.
Shipping
I will ship within 2-3 BUSINESS days of receiving your confirmed payment, usually sooner if possible. My preferred method of shipping is USPS for small items and FedEx for heavier items. If I am shipping via FedEx and you have a PO Box, I will need the actual street address as FedEx will not deliver to Post Office Boxes.

I will ALWAYS reimburse shipping overages of $1.00 or more. I don't like paying for shipping any more than you do. Unfortunately, this year (2016) I saw a price increase in costs. If I didn't charge enough, then that's my loss, which frequently happens.

The post office, doesn't consider anything lost until 30 days have passed.
Refunds and Exchanges
I carefully pack each order to ensure its safe arrival at your door. In the unlikely event of any breakage I will hold either myself or the shipper responsible. I will file all claims with the shipper, and work with you to replace the items or offer you a refund. All I ask is that you provide me with photographs of the breakage including the packaging as the shipping vendor will need to see this.

My hope is that you will be happy with your purchase. I try hard to provide accurate descriptions and pictures of my items, and to price them fairly. Please email me with any questions prior to your purchase.

When you receive your order, if you are not happy with your purchase please email me and I’ll try my best to work it out with you with another piece or refund the purchase price only. Shipping cost will not be refunded.
Additional policies and FAQs
Save time & money! I will ship any gift directly to its recipient for you. Just let me know the occasion and your message, and I'll include a free gift card.

I am sorry I am unable to ship to other countries, the cost is just too high for heavier pieces of pottery.
