Announcement    I make textile art using patchwork, appliqué and rag rug techniques. I like to include recycled materials in my textile work, and many of the larger pieces are unique. Even the smaller pieces are all individually made using different colour combinations so no two will be exactly alike!

My main inspiration comes from nature, colour and pattern.

Colourful art for your walls

I make modern, abstract textile art and craft pieces, using new and recycled fabrics.

I have recently finished a year's textile studies with the Open College of the Arts, to build on my self-taught skills. This has introduced me to a more structured way of creating art.

Favourite subjects and techniques include:- bold, flat colour; strong contrasts; stripes; abstraction from landscapes and natural forms; hand stitch; texture; and mixed media.

I enjoy working with both new and recycled textiles in my wall art and home wares. Colour and pattern are my main design focus. I am always inspired by the nature and landscapes that surround me.
