How did I get here? I've always loved creating gifts. One day I was walking through Michael's (craft store) and I was brainstorming gift ideas for a loved one. I was walking through the aisles and suddenly I saw a wood piece that had birds burned into it. I decided within a couple minutes of looking at the display that I would try this craft. I bought a beginners pyrography tool and a big piece of wood. Within a couple months I had created my first wood burning. That was back in 2013. Let's fast forward to 2018, I hadn't created a wood burning piece since (I still owned the pyrography tool). One day I was out with some friends and the subject of unique art came up in conversation. Naturally I thought back to my first wood burning piece and pulled up a picture to show them what pyrography was. From that day onward I was driven to try wood burning again. I have completely fallen in love with this craft and it brings so much happiness into my life. Thank you for stopping by and reading my story.
