Hello and welcome to Fireopal & Tilly. All jewellery is made to order from my workshop in Yorkshire, UK. Handcrafted to a very high standard, all pieces ordered will only be shipped once I am satisfied that it is perfect. All work is stamped and comes in beautifully wrapped gift boxes. You as the buyer come first and have my guarantee that jewellery you order from Fireopal & Tilly will be a perfect piece of made to order jewellery ready for you to wear or gift. Enjoy x

Payment
The payment for international buyers is paypal. For UK buyers the payment can be either paypal, cheque or postal order. UK BUYERS PLEASE NOTE: If paying by cheque or postal order, we will begin work on your order as soon as the cheque or postal order is received. A cheque payment: the item will be shipped out once the funds have cleared and is within our turnaround time for orders. UK AND INTERNATIONAL: We are happy to set up an instalment plan for our customers. For goods totalling $200 or less the plan will run for four months. For goods totalling between $201-$500 the plan will run for six months. A monthly payment will be a mutal decision between buyer and seller through communication via Etsy. As soon as the final payment is received, the piece(s) will be shipped within 24 hours.
Shipping
Our shipping costs are low, we will however send mail/packages out as safe as possible. UK buyers will have all orders sent recorded mail by default. If you need insurance or would like to have an upgrade to 'Special Delivery' please contact us first, through Etsy so the listing you want to order can have the postage cost amended. International buyers will have their order shipped via Air Mail. If another method of shipping is required, please contact us first so the listing you want to order can have the postage cost amended.

I always obtain proof of posting and in some cases tracking. Please read through the Refund Policy for information on damage and/or losses

INTERNATIONAL: *Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred*

All buyers will be notified of their shipped orders within 12 hours
Refunds and Exchanges
ALL BUYERS: You will have one month from the date of purchase to return an item, providing that we are at fault (including faulty earrings) The 'made to order/measure' (Rings and bangles in particular) nature means that we can not accept returns for refund simply based on a change of mind. We can offer exchanges for all brooches, necklaces/pendants and bracelets. Buyers exchanging through a change of mind will pay for shipping costs. Buyers sending faulty goods back will have full shipping refunded.

DAMAGES: All goods shipped out are sent to you in very strong outer boxes. If you find your order has arrived to you flattened/dented, there is a good chance that only the gift packaging will be damaged. We will happily re-send all the gift packaging/box/ribbon on to you at no extra cost to yourself. We recommend postal insurance so if jewellery is damaged, you can then claim back the costs. We find this is rare. We will however be happy to receieve your jewellery back to fix for free if you contact us through Etsy within 24 hours of receiving your item, along with an attached image of the damage. You will pay for the shipping, we will rectify the damage for free.

LOSSES: We urge all UK customers to wait at least 7 days to receieve their order. USA, Canada and the EU should wait at least 4 weeks. The rest of the world up to 6 weeks. In most cases UK customers should receieve their order within 1-5 working days. USA, Canada and the EU between customers 5-21 working days and the rest of the world up to 31 working days. For any country, including the UK, if after this time period your order still hasn't arrived, further investigation needs to be carried out. I will email you a copy of the proof of posting. I will then contact the Royal Mail so they can investigate. The buyer also needs to contact their mail provider for further investigation. If after this time your order has not arrived or been found, you will be sent a replica with no extra cost and a free gift for your inconvenience.
Additional policies and FAQs
Now all the formalities are out of the way I can mention the fun parts. Repeat and loyal customers can expect to be rewarded for their loyality with free gifts. (not with every order) Gift wrapping/packaging is a free service. Discounts will often take place, especially during the holiday/seasonal periods. You have our guarantee that postage will be kept to a minimum and you will enjoy exceptional service with very high standard pieces of jewellery that will meet your absolute requirements. NOTE: The handmade nature of our jewellery means that there will be slight differences with every piece made. Thats the beauty of independantly made jewellery over mass produced, I'm sure you'll agree
