First Comes Love, the stepping stone towards Spices of Life

I started playing with wire after being inspired to have my own DIY wedding. I wanted my guests to have something to take home that was hand made by the bride and so I did just that! I decided to make my own place card holders, which in turn, became the favors! My guests could take them home and use them to display a photo or whatever they wanted :)
Once the wedding was over and I had no more holders to make, I realized that I actually enjoyed the time I spent working on them and busted out the crafts yet again. Now, it has evolved into what you see in my shop today and I have a great time creating!
First Comes Love has been open for a while now and it has become the building blocks towards my dream of opening a local gift shop, Spices of Life Gift Co. I have saved every penny made from this venture and now my dream is becoming a reality. After losing my job in January of 2013, I have been moving full speed ahead with my plan and the hard work is starting to pay off. We're not quite there yet, but keep checking in for updates!
