Announcement   UPDATE 4/15: I'm starting a 50% off clearance sale! It's time for a lot of my older pieces to move on to make room for new items. Grab them while you can!

PLEASE CHECK OUT MY FACEBOOK PAGE! Click 'like' in the corner of this page or type Fitzy Sparrow into the search box; I should be the only thing that pops up! I'll be posting a couple times a week with new products, sales and discounts, features, craft shows, and other nifty stuff.

Welcome to Fitzy Sparrow! Punky-Elegant-Chic jewelry at the click of a mouse.

UPDATE 1/24: It looks like USPS is pushing up their prices yet again, so I'll have to as well. The US shipping rates will only go up by 25 cents, but international will almost double. Sorry everyone!

UPDATE 12/30: I 'm listing a ton of new items! Keep checking back; my goal is at least 5 new pieces every week. As you can see, the picture quality is much better due to a new and much improved camera, so enjoy and shop to your heart's content!

Here is a working list of the craft shows lined up for Spring 2013:

April 13: The Dallas Flea

June 8: DIME Craft Show (formerly Etsy Denton)

That's it for now! As spring moves on, I'll list more info and a few more shows. Hope to see you there!

PROMO: Limited time sale on older items!

Also, I've started to fill in my store policies page; I ask that any potential customers please read what I have in there so far. Thank you!

****I'm now part of the Etsy Fort Worth Team! Please check out all the other wonderful sellers by typing "Team Fort Worth" in the handmade search engine.

Please enjoy, questions are very welcome!

Payment
Payment is due within one week of purchase unless something has been arranged with me. In rare cases I will take post office money orders, but I usually only take Paypal. Items paid for with an echeck will not be mailed off until the echeck has cleared.
Shipping
DOMESTIC SHIPMENTS:

All purchases shipped within the US are mailed via first class, which takes 2 to 5 business days. Delivery confirmation is included in the shipping price. I can always upgrade to priority or express mail, but please convo me BEFORE buying the item so that I can make the necessary adjustments.

I ship within three business (Monday through Friday) days of receiving payment. I usually make 3 to 4 trips to the post office a week. If you need your purchase quickly, please convo me and I will try to get it out as soon as possible.

Although I'm a big fan of convo'ing, I typically don't contact customers as to when I mail off their items, but I will happily answer your query if you convo me concerning the shipment date.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:

International purchases sometimes take a little longer for me to ship off due to paper work and post office hours, but they always get shipped off within 5 business days. Items are mailed via first class mail international at a flat rate of US$2.75 and can take up to 3 weeks to arrive. I am not responsible for any customs fee or paper work that your country incurrs and will not lie about the value of your item on any forms.

SHIPMENT DELAYS, FEEDBACK, ETC:

THIS IS IMPORTANT! Please don't leave feedback before contacting me. I want my customers to be happy, but I can't do anything if you don't let me know what the problem is.

The optimal time it takes from when you pay for your items to when it reaches your door is one week (5 business days), but I am NOT RESPONSIBLE for the package after it leaves my hands at the post office. It's possible for a purchase made Monday to be received by Thursday, but a more logical estimation is the following Monday. Leaving feedback about your items being 'late' before a week has passed is just unreasonable (unless you specifically convo'd me about mailing it quickly).

If you don't receive your purchase within 2 weeks (10 business days) PLEASE convo me. At that point it is an issue with the post office, which can hopefully be cleared up with your delivery confirmation number.
Refunds and Exchanges
I try to describe all of the items I sell as best as I can, but since I am new at dealing with vintage and antique jewelry, I do make a mistake every once in a while.

Refunds are accepted if you are unhappy with your purchase. The buyer has one week from receiving the product to mail it back to me. Also, please convo me as to the return so that I can watch for it. Once I have gotten the item(s) in question, I will send you a full refund, minus return shipping, via Paypal. You WILL NOT get a refund if you decide that it 'isn't worth your time' to mail back my merchandise.
Additional policies and FAQs
RESERVES:

I do reserve items for one week, unless a longer time period has been arranged with me. After the 7th day has passed, I will convo you to query if you are still interested. If I haven't heard from you in 2 days, then the item will be unreserved for other people to buy.

CONVOS:

I try to answer convos as fast as possible, usually within 2 days maximum. If you haven't heard from me after 3 days, please convo me again, politely. Every once in a while, I get distracted or forget to reply; I'm not ignoring you!

I'm not sure what it is about the internet, but a few people think it's okay to be a jerk because of supposed anonimity (that may not be spelled right...). When convoing or just communicating in general, I don't appreciate it when someone insults me, threatens me, or is rude in any way. If there is a problem, I see no reason why you can't be civil in explaining the situation. If you see fit to be nasty in a convo, at best you will receive a curt reply from me. So, in conclusion, be nice and I will return the favor!
