Why the name 'Five Arrows'?

The name for our shop comes from the following passage of scripture:
"Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth. Belssed is the man whose quiver is full of them." -Psalm 127:3-4

Guess how many kiddos we have?? Yep, 5 :)

Life took a couple of unexpected twists and turns for us in 2013 and my husband found himself without a job, and we found ourselves broke but happier than we had ever been. We decided to get creative & find new ways to support our little/big family. My husband is an amazing photographer and is currently working towards making that his full time occupation, and one Spring morning in 2014, I shot out of bed with my own business plan and the name!

And it was on that beautiful April morning that Five Arrows was born.

I began advertising only on my personal Facebook page & Instagram (five_arrows) and had so much success that I got Five Arrows its own FB page (www.facebook.com/fivearrowsjewelry). The amazing response from there prompted me to begin my own little shop here on Etsy!
