Arts and Crafts time keeps me SANE!

My Shop, Five Bees is based on my Family, around my Family, for myself and therefore, my Family. The name is a combination of the letter "B", which is the first letter of our last name, the number of people that are in my Family and my LOVE for Honey Bees growing up.

Here is my story...
I went from being a working 9-5 Mom, to being home with my 2 year old daughter and twin baby boys. That was a HUGE adjustment. In the past cleaning the house, gardening and other house related tasks, was a stress reliever BUT with 3 LITTLE kids it just wasn't possible. I started to look for other things to do to help relieve stress and keep my mind sane. I read, I baked, they worked for a bit, but I wanted more.

I had several friends having babies and since I was home I was able to take them time and actually MAKE them things! I am HUGE present giver; I LOVE LOVE LOVE to give people presents. So, I started making presents for friends and their babies, and then I started to get LOTS of compliments on what I made. Along with the compliments came requests to make things for others to give as gifts, and the suggestions of opening a shop...This got the wheels in my head turning.

I loved being home with my kids, but I knew they would get big and it wouldn't last forever. What was I going to do when the kids went to school? I wanted to do something that I really really enjoyed, I didn't want just a job and just a paycheck. So, I decided I have 5 years, 5 years until my youngests start school. Why not turn these gifts into a business!?

After MONTHS of Research and building of inventory, I opened my Shop up on September 3rd, and got my very first sale that same day! The entire process has been a lot of work, but I have enjoyed every bit of it! My daughter started Kindergarten this past Summer and my Boys will go to Preschool 2 days a week starting in September. I am super excited about the extra time I will have to put into my shop to help it grow further!

I work from my kitchen table and even the counter sometimes; on nice days I set up a table outside while the kids play - I know pretty awesome! Even with the working outside option I DREAM of a Day when I will have my own craft room. :o) Right now I have a great storage space with a peg board and TONS of shelves I will have to take pictures of it some time soon. For now you will have to look at pictures of my Family, The FIVE BEES!

I accept Pay Pal, and Etsy Direct Check Out - You can pay via PayPal even if you do not have a PayPal account.

PROCESSING TIME: Ready made is 1-3 Days and Made to order/Custom is 2 weeks. YOUR PURCHASE RECEIPT CONTAINS THE ESTIMATED DATE OF DELIVERY. Be sure to review it as soon as possible after your purchase.

Please note Processing Time is the time for me to complete and create your order and DOES NOT include shipping time.

I will only start on an order after payment has been made/cleared. Processing time is 2weeks from date of payment, and follows business days only which are Monday-Friday. So, if you order on a Saturday or Sunday, the order processing clock will start on the next business day, which would be Monday. Items will also only go to the Post Office Monday-Friday. *** Holidays are not business days.*** I am in EST, and follow US National Holidays. Please let me know if you need clarification on when your order will be ready to ship.

CUSTOM ORERS may require a deposit prior to me shopping for fabrics or other supplies for you to choose from. During our discussion I will let you know if a deposit is required. All custom orders must be paid in full before actual work is started on your order and the processing time starts once payment has been made and cleared not during the discussion of details process.

CANCELLATIONS: Custom orders, Made to Order and orders with Custom changes have a 15% restocking fee.
Shipping
I ship via the US Postal Service, 1st class postage. I will send you a note with tracking info along with approximate delivery date once your order is in the mail. If you would like me to use a different mail service such as UPS or FedEx or wish to change to Priority Mail or Express please let me know PRIOR to purchase and I can let you know the shipping fees for those options.

The standard shipping time frame with the USPS is 3-5 business days. I have no control over the USPS. If you need an item sooner than that time frame, please contact me PRIOR placing your order. I will need to make sure that I am able to complete your order and get it to the post office to be delivered by your desired date. Just send me an email/convo PRIOR to purchase and we can discuss options which may include an increase in shipping fees.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: As of right now International Shipping will be handled based on your location. Please send me a message and I will let you know if I can ship to you and what the shipping fees will. ***Buyers are responsible for any and all duties, taxes, customs fees & brokerage fees associated with your purchase. I WILL NOT mark the Customs form "gift" so please DO NOT ask!***

Please note that once I put a package in the mail it is out of my hands. I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages and it is up the recipient to do the leg work to find the package as well as process insurance claims. Most insurance claims require you to wait 60 days before processing.

Insurance: USPS 1st class shipping includes $50 insurance coverage. If your order is over $50, I will add additional insurance to the package and you will be responsible for the cost. I will not send the package until the additional insurance coverage has been paid.

If your item is a gift, I am happy to ship directly to the recipient. Please just make a note of it on the order OR send me an email letting me know that there is a different address then what is listed on your Pay Pal account. Please let me know if you would like to include a small card and message.
Refunds and Exchanges
All custom and personalized items are non-refundable.

If you are not happy with your order upon its arrival please contact me immediately. If I can not find a way to make you happy you can send it back with in 30days of purchase. Buyer is responsible for shipping fees when sending it back and must get tracking. I will process a refund once the item is received. The refund will be for the purchase price only and will not include original shipping fees.
