I bought this painting as a thank you gift for my in-laws for our wedding. I have never purchased an original piece of artwork before, and I loved the way Lynn provided the context and background for the painting, which I included when I wrote the thank you card to them. On My Way To Peace

My art started basically as a therapeutic way to de-stress. Three children, a full time job and one night a week at college...yes, I didn't have time for art but then again, I needed it as much or more than everything else in my life.

I started drawing, painting, studying early art; impressionistic art, pop art, primitive art, and every other kind of art I could find...what I discovered is that the art that interests me is meaningful and thoughtful art. A good design is one thing; but if it doesn't evoke emotion it is just lines on paper.

I have recently decided to only put art in my Etsy shop that means something to me...makes my heart happy and my soul fly. You won't see anything in my shop that I won't be sad about when it sells.

I work in my studio on the banks of Lake Hartwell...I am fortunate to have three dedicated rooms to spread out my "mess" and make wonderful beautiful meaningful art.
