About dreamfed

Sales 122
On Etsy since 2006

dreamfed is dress-up

Dress-up like you're 5 and you're putting on clothes from your dress-up chest. I like to think you could wear them anywhere, from hanging out to the opera. Plastic shoes included.

Like a lot of people, I like mixing things up. Prints, glam and casual, inside out, backwards. Repurposing things like tablecloths, bedspreads, sari's, tapestry...

I work on my antique wooden card table, with the help of my kitty Juno.

In this shop, the clothes are ready-to-sell in differing sizes including plus size. I think it's important to be unique. I've been weirdly unique since I was 11 (I'm now 69), making my own clothes and dressing in Carnaby Street attire, complete with my grandfather's button-up shirt, tie, and jacket (and lavender rosary). So important to have fun!

Hope you enjoy looking around xx

  • Juno

    Assistant

Juno, the shop kitty, wakes me up when it's time to go to work, rubs my leg when it's time for a break, and looks at me longingly when it's time to close shop for the day. Her help is invaluable <3

I've been designing clothes since the 1960's I think starting with Barbie. Have you ever tried to set sleeves into a top that tiny? Welcome to the wonderful world of the cool and unusual. xx
