Absolutely gorgeous yarn, and the picture can't do justice to the colours. Can't wait to get this on the needles! Many thanks

Wondrous! This is just one of the group of yarns I bought, and they're all equally stunning. Perfect colour; perfect customer service.

About

Put your heart into your materials

For me, choosing a truly gorgeous yarn and working with it on a favourite pattern is as much a pleasure as the finished object. Fleece Cottage Yarns was created out of that love for materials. My colours are inspired by the natural world and changing seasons and are complemented by bases that are a joy to use. I work in Fleece Cottage surrounded by my family and looking out to the countryside.

Your handmade creations call for beautiful materials and at Fleece Cottage Yarns I love to dye the perfect yarn bases with a stunning array of colours, from rich jewel tones, to ethereal subtle shades.

For those looking for ready-to-wear everyday luxury, I have a selection of handmade lace scarves and stoles which match lovely silks to designs based on natural themes or ancient patterns.

I love beautiful yarns and gorgeous dark jewel-like colours so when I moved into Fleece Cottage, it was only a matter of time before I started dyeing my own yarn. I adore lace knitting and would love to try spinning someday soon.

Welcome to Fleece Cottage Yarns and thank you for looking! Our yarns are individually hand-painted and hand-dyed in an array of beautiful colours. The hand-dyeing process means each skein is unique and so if you are using more than one skein, I would recommend alternating the skeins in your project.

Custom orders are welcomed - please get in touch if you have something in mind. My colourways are often one of a kind, but I can try to repeat them as closely as possible, if you require.

The yarns are acid dyed and my current bases are mostly silks, merinos and blends of the two. Other yarn weights will be added in due course and if you'd like a custom dye in a heavier yarn, please do contact me.

Monitors always display colour differently, so I describe the colourway to try and give you an accurate idea of the shade. If you want any more information, do contact me.
