I am self taught at sewing, and started the sewing portion of my business in 2004 (selling under the name Monster Fashion). In 2011, we re-branded as Florence Oliver.

I love working with leather, floral and graphic cotton prints, vintage fabrics, and lace/trims.
I also have a deep interest in using flower essences and essential oils for stress relief and overall energy lifting. I began using flower essences shortly after the birth of my son in July 2014. I quickly fell in love with using essences and began dreaming up products I could include them in. My first flower essence product will be released at the end of January 2016!

Please read our policies carefully before placing your order!

All of our items are handmade by one individual. The materials that we use are new and vintage (noted in the description) and we use interfacing and high quality materials to make our items durable. I take great care in crafting my items and because everything is handmade there will be slight variations - this makes your item one of a kind! Please contact me before ordering if you have any questions about an item.

We do our best to photograph representing the true colors of our items, but keep in mind the settings on your monitor may show the color as lighter or darker than it really is.

We have been crafting our goods since 2003 and selling online since 2004. Please let us know if you have any questions at all regarding our policies below.

We currently accept payment through Paypal or Etsy direct checkout.

Payment is expected at the time of purchase and must be made no later than three (3) days after the purchase unless you contact us PRIOR to purchasing to work out a payment agreement.

If payment has not been received within three (3) days, we will Etsy convo you, email you and send an invoice.

If we do not hear back from you or cannot come to an agreement within 7 days after our communication attempts, the transaction will be canceled and reported to Etsy.
Orders are shipped within 2-3 days of purchase unless stated otherwise. Most orders are shipped within 24 hours.

Shipping is done through USPS First Class Mail and USPS First Class Mail International, unless noted otherwise in the listing. Shipping prices include actual shipping cost, but may also include cost of shipping materials, a small handling fee and delivery confirmation (U.S. only) to protect buyer and seller.

We recycle shipping materials whenever possible. Most small items are shipped in bubble mailers. Most handbags will be shipped in boxes and shipping will be USPS Priority mail. Lost/Stolen/Damaged in shipping policy still applies - see below:

Once we have handed your shipped item over to the Post Office, we can no longer take responsibility for whether it gets lost, stolen, or damaged. Please contact us prior to purchasing if you wish to purchase insurance for an additional small fee.

- U.S. Customers -

You will receive an email with your Delivery Confirmation number once your package has shipped. If you are concerned about your package getting damaged or lost in the mail you may purchase USPS Insurance for a small fee.

Again, we cannot guarantee lost, stolen, or items damaged in transit if you do not purchase Insurance. All of our items are carefully packaged, but we cannot control how your package is being handled through the USPS service.

If your delivery confirmation tracking shows the status of the package as "Delivered" but you have not received it we are not responsible for a stolen package and cannot replace it. Should this happen, please contact your post office immediately about the package. Usually it accidentally gets scanned and is still at your post office.
If you are worried about any packages getting stolen work out an agreement with your individual mail carrier for where to leave your packages if they do not fit in your mail box - inside a side door, with a neighbor, or ask them to leave a slip that you can take to the post office to pick it up.

- International Customers -

Your purchases will be shipped via First Class International mail unless otherwise specified. This shipping method can take up to 2 - 4 weeks or more to arrive depending where you are located. If you need a faster service, please contact us for rates before making your purchase.

Due to the unfortunate high expense of International shipping we are not able to offer Delivery Confirmation service or Insurance to our International customers unless you opt to upgrade to a faster shipping method.

Florence Oliver, LLC is not responsible for any taxes or duties due on International packages.

**In regards to all packages: if we receive a returned package that is marked "Refused", "Unclaimed", or "Invalid Address" by the USPS you will receive a refund of the purchase price less shipping costs. If your package is sent back to us as damaged and the item is okay, we will reship at our expense. If the item itself is damaged we will contact you for replacement options or refund of item cost, less shipping.**
Refunds and Exchanges
We believe in customer satisfaction, you are the heart and soul of our business! Please contact us immediately if you are genuinely unhappy with your item.

We are unfortunately unable to accept returns on apothecary goods unless we messed up and sent you the wrong item. If you are genuinely unhappy with your item, contact us and we'll work something out!

For leather goods:

Email your return request to: hello [at] florenceoliver [dot] com

Once we receive your email and write you back with further instructions, the item must be returned in perfect, unused condition (the same way you received it) within 10 days of the original shipping date. You are responsible for return postage and must add Delivery Confirmation service.

Once we receive your return you will be refunded the purchase price, less original shipping charges.
