This was an immediate download so I was able to start on it right away. The instructions are pretty clear, but if a crochet beginner who relied on exact instructions were to try this - they may have problems. Just little things. For example, turning at the end of rows. Sometimes it will say to chain 2 (or 1) but not always. If you are trying to keep the same number of stitches across, you know this is important. Sometimes it says finish off, sometimes not. I figured it out and the squares are coming out really cute. Although I didn't like the looks of the white border on the doggy face square. It was hard to follow at first, and too lacey for my grandson I thought. I changed it to a HDC and I like that better. So I changed the dark blue on the dog bone square to match. I'm excited to get all the squares done!

About

I love to create it all, each piece is a facet composing my entire body of artwork.

I have been crocheting for over 25 years and am known for precision, color and style. My hats have been shown and sold in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens in New York as well as Los Angeles, CA and Teaneck, NJ.

I have tried to describe and represent each item to the best of my ability. If you have any questions, please ask.

Hat sizes:
XXS- 18-19" (45.7-48.3 cm)
XS - 19-20" (48.3-50.8 cm)
S - 20-21" (50.8-53.3 cm)
M - 21-22" (53.3-55.9 cm)
L - 22-23" (55.9-58.4 cm)
XL - 23-24" (58.4-61 cm)
XXL- 24-25" (61-63.5 cm)
XXXL-25-26" (63.5-66 cm)

My BA is in Fine Art/Computer Ad Design and my MA is in Painting. My paintings, sculptures and drawings have been shown in various locations in New York. My artwork resides around the world.

I was always told to narrow it down and choose one thing. The fact is is that I love to explore just about anything I can get my hands on and I tried to learn as much as I could in as many mediums as I could when I had the chance.

My top interests are animals, art, music and singing. I like to experience and absorb as much as I can. As for art, I took every class in different mediums that I could squeeze in inside and outside of school. Just to mention some of my favorites: painting (acrylic, oil, watercolor, encaustic), printmaking (linocut, woodcut, etching), jewelry, ceramics and stone carving.

I like to keep my hands moving. Mostly, I love to crochet and itch to create hats although I enjoy crocheting earrings as well and randomly delve into any art medium that inspires me. I have a BA in Fine Art/Computer Ad Design and a MA in Painting.

I have been crocheting for almost 30 years and am known for precision, flair, class, color and style. I create mostly hats but have some accessories as well. My hats have been shown and sold in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens in New York as well as Los Angeles, CA and Teaneck, NJ.

I work mostly with acrylic but you will see some hats in cotton, wool and blended yarn as described per item.

My work is best to hand wash cool and lay flat or reshape to dry. If the work has ribbon or embellishments other than common plastic buttons, take care not to get these wet.

When I could, I took all the classes I could fit in. I have a BA in Fine Art/Computer Ad Design and a MA in Painting. Really, I love to work with all mediums, so you'll see other pieces at times.

Additional policies and FAQs
Care: Acrylic is machine washable cool, dry low. Hand washing is always the most gentle. If the work has hand beading, ribbons or buttons, only gentle spot cleaning should be used when needed. If your hat starts out a little snug, it should stretch and perfectly mold to your head in about 2 weeks of use.
