5 out of 5 starsThis ring is absolutely gorgeous! The colors in the tourmaline pop in this setting. The craftsmanship is impeccable. The band is solid and fits very comfortably. I love it!

5 out of 5 starsI absolutely love my necklace. It is like a piece of art. Mary and Michael were kind enough to put together a pair of earrings to complete the look without them being too much of a matching set....I don’t like things that match identically. I am looking forward to finding new unique pieces from Flow Studio.

5 out of 5 starsAlthough this was not a gift purchase, I appreciated the lovely packaging and the personal note. The latter was a nice surprise and not often done. Thank you! The necklace itself is perfect. I love the patina, the shape, the size, and the chain length. Good call to agree to shorter. I love leaves....do you do leaf earrings?? Ignore the neck wrinkles in the picture and only have eyes for the little leaf!

5 out of 5 starsEarrings are absolutely beautiful!! I asked for one of their designs to be modified to have wires instead of posts and they delivered. Very pleased with final product. I let Michael and Mary choose the stone and I was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend their work - always great communication.

Four hands, one shared brain.
This is the spot where Etsy suggests we answer the question "How does it all work?" We'll be honest: We're still figuring it out.
We are partners who share a small jewelry-making studio … and a life. We make and sell our jewelry for a living – around the U.S. Midwest at art shows and around the world thanks to this shop. It's soul-satisfying to be able to make things that people like to wear and find meaningful or beautiful.
We enjoy our work and put a lot of love and happy energy into the jewelry we create. Quality is important to both of us, and thus we make jewelry that lasts. And about that shared brain? We don't know how that works either, but the result is kind of like a wireless, open-access fileserver. It's handy.
Most of our jewelry is made from sterling silver. We often work with semiprecious gemstones, sometimes starting with small slabs of rock that we cut and polish into cabochons. We work with a lot of hand tools, two small torches, and a few small powered machines. We try to keep our footprint small, in our own consumption and in our business. Our scrap silver is gathered, saved, and recycled so nothing goes to waste.
We hope you enjoy browsing our shop! We sincerely appreciate that you support our handiwork. ~M+M

Bob Dickey of WIBN (Wood'n It Be Nice) on Etsy
Mukwonago, WI
Bob Dickey runs his own Etsy shop, selling beautifully hand-fabricated jewelry boxes and armoires. He makes these small, labor-intensive heart boxes just for us. These are a limited-time, small production run item designed as an add-on purchase for our shop. When they're gone, they're gone!
Shop policies
All gemstones used in our work are natural gemstones, and we cut many of our own cabochons. We do not use synthetic stones. Some gemstones may be enhanced using industry-accepted treatments that are durable and long-lasting. For example; topaz is often heat-treated to create a wide range of vivid colors.
Our silver and gold wire, sheet, tubing, and casting grain are sourced from suppliers who use only recycled metals in their raw materials. This approach is better for the earth.

Shipping
Within the US, we use USPS first class and Priority Mail shipping (you can choose the Priority upgrade at checkout if desired). Jewelry is packaged in a durable gift box with appropriate padding in the gift box itself and then placed in a padded mailer or box. Multiple items will be sent in one mailer, but each item will be in its own gift box. Larger items will be carefully packaged and in some cases double-boxed.
We use delivery confirmation and all purchases shipped to an address in the United States will be insured at no charge to you. Neither Flow Studio nor the USPS is responsible for items after delivery has been confirmed. If a package is lost en route, please contact us. If the USPS can't locate your package, we will send you a replacement.. Because each piece is handmade, there may be some variation, but we will try to come as close as is humanly possible to matching the piece you originally ordered. In hundreds of Etsy sales and USPS deliveries since 2010, this has happened only once!
International Orders
International buyers are responsible for all taxes, customs fees, etc. imposed by the country of destination. Buyers are also responsible for being familiar with their country's customs regulations and procedures including possible delays that may be caused by customs.
Additional policies and FAQs
Sterling silver will tarnish over time if exposed to air. The best way to avoid this is to store jewelry pieces in airtight containers – including a simple zip-top bag, We include a recloseable bag with each piece of jewelry. Tarnish can be removed with a polishing cloth (for jewelry with a high polish) or with careful strokes of a Scotchbrite pad (for satin finishes).
Jewelry that has a dark patina that we applied will also change subtly over time. Storing the pieces in a plastic bag will keep changes to a minimum. We can re-patina your jewelry piece – we just ask you to cover the shipping costs. Do not use a tarnish remover unless you want to totally remove the patina.
Copper items are protected with lacquer that is used to keep brass musical instruments bright. This coating will protect the patina that is applied to your piece. The lacquer is durable and water-resistant, and can withstand a brief cleaning and rinsing in water, but do not soak copper pieces.
Please keep in mind that due to differences in monitors, what you see on your computer's monitor may vary somewhat from the actual item.
