About

Patchwork

I started to sew Patchwork About 40 years ago, fabrics and literature it bought in London that time, because in Germany only less was available. Well, Liberty fabrics and Laura Ashley fabrics were available in Hamburg, but no literature.

From 1983 to 1993 I made a patchwork break because of language studies and full time Job.

Nevertheless in 1985 the picture and a sewing instruction of one of my first quilts was published by well-known German Publishers.

In 1993 I started again designing and sewing patchwork, took part in exhibitions, made my own Exhibition (that time you had to do every quilting by hand), worked as a teacher and designed pillows for some children chairs.
