Unique Glass Art
I love to make things, especially out of glass.
I started working with hot glass in 2008 when I took glass blowing classes at Tidewater Community College in Portsmouth, Virginia. I loved it, how the molten glass drawn straight from the furnace is shaped and colored as if by magic.
And then the Navy moved us. So we bought a kiln and some Bullseye glass and the Navy shipped it all to Japan and then to Italy and then back to Japan. I unpacked the boxes, began fusing everything and have not stopped since!
The creative process is very conscious for me with my glass art starting as original sketches and photos. Some pieces are hand cut and individually shaped while others are pulled at the torch. Creating with kiln formed glass is amazing and the possibilities are as big as your imagination.
