About

Art Takes Flight at Flying Shoes Art Studio

I was pretty nervous to stick my toe into the enormous ocean of online business but it's been a thrilling adventure beyond anything I ever imagined.

I've maintained a little art studio all my life and have felt personally attached to each and every buyer who purchased or commissioned my artwork. I never dreamed that promoting and selling my work online could still have that personal feel. When a buyer contacts me from across the U.S.A or from across the globe I react with the same sense of connection - someone out there notices and is somehow drawn to what I express and create - it's deeply personal to me.

As you visit my shop, I hope you find something that pleases you and speaks to you. I tell my students that art is a wonderful conversation that breaks through age, culture, experience and just about everything else that often separates us - it is a powerful way to connect. Thanks to this incredible technology I am blessed to take flight with my studio and have beautiful conversations with the world around me.

I am thrilled to be a working artist and art teacher. Creating original works of art is a joy and finding good homes for my work is a bonus. I live on the remote prairie of Oklahoma but thanks to Etsy I enjoy creating and selling around the globe.
