About FlyLeafBookbinding

On Etsy since 2017

We handmake our leather journals with love and care. Every single piece is unique in its own way.

Welcome to FlyLeaf Bookbinding!

We love paper, we love books, we love journals...and we love to travel. We've studied bookbinding and papermaking, as well as classic and modern art in master classes and at universities.

How did we get started?

As we've honed our bookbinding skills over the last few years, we were asked to teach local classes to those who loved our book creations. That's when Flyleaf Bookbinding got started.

We are currently selling multiple lines of high-quality journals and traveler's style notebooks made with luxurious leathers and felts and papers. We also sell our creations complete with the interchangeable notebook inserts that complement the sizes we offer.

FlyLeaf isn't just a cottage business, it's a passion. We would love to share our continuing artisan book journey with you, by creating a signature piece that you'll be proud to carry with you and deposit your thoughts, dreams, designs, drawings, notes and more. We're convinced...once you try one, you'll be hooked too.

Handmade leather goods will also have unique variation and we feel that it gives your notebook character and its uniqueness. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Best to keep your leather out of harsh sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid liquids hitting your leather. If it does let it dry don't dab as it can push the stain deeper into your leather.
