I started this store after years of making people gifts that they adored, as a way to continue being creative. Coming up with a shop name was difficult, and I spent hours writing names down, only to scratch them out in frustration.

Finally, I decided to go back to the things that inspire me, that I truly love- all things feathered and mythological.
Ever since High School I've scoured over mythology, specifically Grecian and Roman myths, and creation myths across the world. I'm fascinated with the epic tales that used to be memorized, before being literate was a widely known skill, and sung by bards or told in wide marble halls by orators.

One tale in particular stuck with me, and that was the tale of Hermes, the Greek messenger. I’ve always been struck by the idea of winged sandals, and the ability to just strap on flight! As an homage to that, when I turned 21 I celebrated with twin rainbow wings on my ankles- and now I have my very own ankle wings!

You’ll find things inspired by mythology, flight, birds and feathers in my shop, but you’ll also find pieces that are created with modern things in mind; specifically geeky things. I’m a geek, and I find no shame in admitting that I love Harry Potter, Supernatural, and all things Joss Whedon related! So you’ll see things scattered about my shop from those fandoms, which I take part in online.

I create things with the wearer in mind, and always strive for quality above quantity. If something isn’t quite right- I’ll make it again. I’d rather redo a knot or wire wrap a briolette fifteen times than have something come apart when you wear it! (How many times has a jump ring come open on a bracelet, and you’ve lost it? I can’t count the number, it’s happened so much!)

Wherever possible, I use sterling silver, gemstones, gold-filled and crystals. I love shimmer and shine, as well as antiqued and patinaed pieces as well.

Everything I create is something I would wear myself- I don’t make things that I’m not proud of, and would never sell something that isn’t up to my own strict standards.
Let me know if you like, love, desire, or MUST HAVE something in my shop, but it’s just not the right color/size/shape! I can make custom pieces, and actually love to sit down and brainstorm with new people over their ideas- there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing someone’s eyes light up when I bring their idea to life for them.
