FolcloreGifts is a Portuguese brand producing home accessories and laptop accessories with eco friendly Portuguese traditional supplies as cork and felted wool fabric.
We work with a heighten awareness for sustainability, only choosing natural materials.
In our lap desks, cork is used in the tray and in the filling, made from a cork by-product. It is hypoallergenic, anti-bacterial and protected against fungus or mites. It is organic and very comfortable! Our lap trays are handmade of Portuguese cotton fabrics, some of them using traditional patterns.
A traditional felted pure wool fabric, burel, coming from our mouintains, is used in the iPad and iPhone cases and valet trays.

When the bark of a cork-oak tree is harvested, the tree is not damaged and a new layer of cork grows back slowly during the following nine years before it gets harvested again. Checks and money orders are not accepted.
Note that you can make credit card payments through PayPal without opening an account. Please follow these procedures:

PayPal accounts may be created for free (www.paypal.com) or you can also sign up for a PayPal account while purchasing an item.
Please note, if your PayPal payment is not immediate (e.g. echeck or from a bank account), your package will not ship until payment clears.
If you're having any problems associated with payment, please let us know. When no payment is received I will try to contact you by sending a convo and an e-mail. If no response is received, the order will be canceled after a week.

Shipping
Tracking number will be assigned to your order in case you choose the shipping upgrade. Standard Shipping is not trackable.
We'll inform you when the order is shipped.
We are not responsible for undelivered, misdelivered, undeliverable packages, or packages that are damaged or destroyed in transit.
Note: International shipping will generally take 5-12 business days. If you experience a longer delay, it is possible that it is being delayed because of customs. Any fees connected with customs will be the responsibility of the purchaser and will not be refunded.
