Every letterpress love story is a little bit different. For Elana, it was the machinery that made the craft so appealing. What her mom calls "a lot of futzing" called to her because it was so tactile and concrete, with immediate results - basically the opposite of her life as a social media professional.

One letterpress class at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts turned into a full-blown obsession, and yada yada yada - two years later she opened her own letterpress and graphic design studio full time.
