Announcement   HELLO & WELCOME to Food for the Soul Rosaries and Chaplets! I create rosaries, chaplets and prayer beads to last a lifetime, using only heavy duty professional beading wire, or nickel silver wrapping wire for the 'unbreakables'. They have been made to become treasured family heirlooms. I use only high quality crystals and gemstones and I stand behind the quality of my workmanship. Wire ends are always tightly crimped to prevent 'sticking' your fingers during use, and the strung rosaries are always finished off with silver-plated crimp covers to to give them a polished, professional look.
If you like a particular rosary, but would prefer a different crucifix, or cross, please convo me and I'll be glad to change it for you.

NOTICE concerning NICKEL ALLERGIES...I can now offer nickel-free strung rosaries. I recently obtained a testing kit for detecting the nickel content in all metal rosary components.

I love the 'Food For The Soul' store site. No matter what I order, everything comes super fast, packaged well, and made with love. There are lots of really good people on Etsy, and this seller is one of them. I highly recommend her!

About

A new business is born and a life is renewed.

It was my Grandmother who gave me a strong foundation in faith, my Godmother who taught me about unconditional love, and that is how this all began...
In March of 2009 I lost my last job and I knew I'd reached a point where it would be hard to find work because all I'd been trained to do included physical labor. I was nearly 57 by then and my body was pretty broken down. I'd been crafting all my life and a friend talked me into learning how to make jewelry and getting a computer and learning how to use it...not an easy trick for an old dog like me! I soon found out that selling jewelry is a fiercely competitive business and I was spending more money than I took in. Then one day I saw a gorgeous rosary in a catalog and something clicked. I quickly sold the first two that I made and a new business was born! I immersed myself in research to learn all that I could about rosaries, chaplets, the saints (did you know there are more than 10,000 of them?!) and Anglican prayer beads. Practice, practice, practice is a huge part of the process. I'm constantly striving to improve my techniques to provide the most beautiful, and durable, rosaries possible, while keeping my prices very affordable.
I've now been doing this since Feb. of 2010, and the more I do it, the more I continue to learn. I feel as if my whole life has been a path leading me to learn more about my personal faith, as well as helping others along their own path. The best part is that my circle of friends has grown exponentially. I have been truly blessed to meet some of the most wonderful people from all around the world, enriching my life beyond measure.

"The hours I spent with Thee, Dear Heart!
Or, as a string of pearls to Thee,
I count them over, every one apart,
My rosary, my rosary . . .

Each hour a pearl, each pearl a prayer,
To still a heart in absence wrung,
I tell each bead unto the end,
And there a cross is hung . . . "

I'm so glad you're browsing in my shop. I hope that all of my customers will be repeat customers, so I will do everything in my power to make your experience here as pleasant as possible. If you have any questions please contact me through Etsy and I will answer you a.s.a.p. I will be checking on my shop daily, so no one will have to wait long for an answer (unless my computer crashes, or the internet is down. :-\ ) Please read all of my policies carefully before ordering.....Happy Shopping!

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I accept PayPal only. If payment is not received within three (3) days of the sale, the item(s) will then be relisted.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to make a payment through PayPal. You can use your credit or debit card to make a payment without having a PayPal account yet still using PayPal checkout option. All you need to do is to choose PayPal option while checking out and then follow the steps from there.
Shipping
Your item(s) will be shipped within 1-3 days of receipt of payment, usually much sooner than later. While I recommend you request insurance, it is certainly not required. If you do wish to have your package insured, please contact me before you make your purchase so I can adjust the shipping cost to include it. I cannot control when items lost in shipping, but I will work with you to resolve any problems. I ship via USPS only.

I do combine shipping on all multiple orders. There's no need to contact me, as this will be done automatically at the time you place your order. Each additional item will raise the shipping cost anywhere from 50¢ to $1.50, depending on the weight and size.

~*~*~*~INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING~*~*~*~

IMPORTANT: The buyer will be responsible for paying all Customs Duties/VAT/GST fees incurred at the time of receipt of the package. These fees are never included in the cost of the item, or the cost of the shipping.

Shipping rates to other countries have raised dramatically due to new rates from the USPS. What used to cost $6.00 to ship, has now more than doubled. Unfortunately, I have had to raise my rates accordingly. If I find that you have been charged more than a dollar over what you have paid, you will receive a partial refund of your shipping cost.

I do ship to other countries via USPS First Class mail only. Your order will be shipped as soon as payment is received. PayPal is the only method of payment I accept on all orders coming from outside the United States. Since I will be unable to insure international packages, I cannot be responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit. Please Convo me if you have any questions.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will accept returns only if they are shipped back to me undamaged and unused within one week of receipt. The items must be in their original condition and you must contact me for confirmation before shipping anything back for refund, or exchange. The buyer will be responsible for all shipping charges incurred during the transaction. All returns must be shipped via USPS with a tracking number.
Additional policies and FAQs
Although I do not normally take on special requests, I have from time to time, done a few custom orders for people. Remember, it doesn't hurt to ask. If I feel your request is something I can do (and do well), I'll try my very best to make your wish come true.
