About

Where the sawdust hits the floor.

When my wife and I decided to leave California and return to our roots in South Dakota, part of the deal to get me to come along was, I was to be allowed to build a shop to house my woodworking tools. I have always been amazed at how you can take raw materials and with a bit of work, turn them into something usefull or beautiful. As a hobby I havent been confined to any one specific catagory of items. I have built many things from normal furnature to caskets. Toys are rewarding to build because you know they will be used and cherrished. Lately I have been building kayaks, the form, the function, the beauty of a floating coffee table has captured my imagination and has prompted me to explore more of my invironment.

Shop policies

Last updated on March 4, 2011
Welcome to my policies page. I want to keep this as simple as possible. I build these things for fun and I hope you enjoy them to. Yes I have a real job but I love to create things in my shop. Your support helps to keep my shop running, and I will do whatever I can to make you happy. I will not skimp, I will not cut corners, I will not sell something that I would not give to my own children.

Simply put, if you are not satisfied, send it back for rembursement.
Additional policies and FAQs
All of my products are made from wood with a minimum of glue, stain and polyurethane. And while wood is an excellent source of fiber, some common sense parenting will go a long way. Some pieces can be pulled apart and look tasty to those people under 3 feet tall. Please make sure they are chewed up sufficiently before swallowing is attempted.
