I thought I wanted one of these, to be able to pull from outer and center balls of home spun. I can indeed use as said. But, to me it is a measure of wonderful folk art. It is not just functional but beautiful How blessed I am!

This spindle holder is so useful! I use it for some of my Turkish spindles not just drops and it looks great.

Welcome to Forest Crafters. We are a husband and wife team based in Nottinghamshire who are enthusiastic handcrafters.

Currently we are producing wool and fibre related handcrafts as well as hand turned woodwork.

Our range includes hand spun yarn, created from hand washed, dyed and processed British fleece including Rare Breeds, the majority of which is locally sourced. We also work with commercially combed fibres. Some of the fibre is hand dyed in small batches using natural ingredients from our garden or kitchen, as well as acid dyes. Some of this yarn is used with commercial fibres to make felted creations including bags.
I hand dye all yarn myself.

We are also designing and creating fibre related tools including: wooden turned nostepinnes, spindles, spinning wheel orifice hooks, weaving stick kits, peg loom weaving kits, shawl pins and our popular spindle holders.

We sell our products through craft fairs and on-line .

We are also happy to fulfil customised orders, the latest one being an individually designed drop spindle.
Thank You for looking.
