4 out of 5 starsSpins great, no wobble. And nice to look at.Definitely a keeper. Had to smooth the shaft a bit with 220 sandpaper, and would have liked a notch in the whorl edge.

5 out of 5 starsThis is a really lovely item. It was shipped so quickly, looks even prettier than pictured. It works well with almost anything, but is rugged enough to wear carrying a baby with you!

Treen for everyone!
Wood is good.
Wood is hygienic
I started woodworking 20 years ago. Actually, 40 years ago, hammering nails into my grandfather's shop. The way it should be.
Wood has always spoken to me. I love the color of nature. The smell of the forest. I love being among the trees. It completes me.
All of my wood work for sale is made from storm fallen trees within my local area. Living in NJ, I have access to a few dozen species of wood within a short drive of the shop. I jokingly refer to this as treecycling, as most of the wood I cut would otherwise end up in landfills. By making useful objects out of it such as bowls, spoons vessels, scoops and boxes- we both get a little taste of immortality.
Lastly, there is the need to make. Yes, I NEED TO MAKE. A thousand little cuts later... and it is still exciting. It is in my DNA. I have to make. You have a choice. You can buy handmade (from me or someone else like me), or you can buy Made in China. If you are here on Etsy, I think I know what you'll do... and thank you for looking!
