The processing time for our hand bound journals is 5-10 business days.
The processing times for our handmade bookmarks is 1-3 business days.
The processing time for our "Title Page" journal add on listing is 3-4 weeks due to the extra work required for this ultra custom journal.Not counting weekends or holidays. This does not include shipping time.
Each journal is handmade with love, just for you. It is important to me that each item is created with great attention to detail, quality materials and exceeds customer expectations. Because of this, my making process is slower but the final product is superior to mass produced and machine made. Thank you for giving me time to do my best work!

5 out of 5 starsThe external leather folio is just like the photos, very satisfying, thick sturdy leather, the wraparound strap works well. The stamping is really nice. The paper inside is good - five or six folios [mini booklets] stitched in individually, nice quality off-white unlined paper (almost a pinky-beige tone? very, very faint, very pleasing) and the folios do open almost flat. I bought a 5 x 7 and I am finding that it's easier to write just on the one page, not on the backside. Just what I wanted.

I have been creating hand sewn custom journals since 2012. Bookmaking is my life. Still completely journal obsessed after 10 years of creating them daily. All of my journals are created using thick, durable full grain leather, tough waxed thread, archival quality papers & love. Handmade in house - I do not outsource. What are the 2022 holiday/Christmas order deadlines?
Orders placed on or before November 26th should arrive on or before December 25th, if the correct address is provided at checkout.
Orders placed after November 26th may not arrive by the 25th of December, but we will do our best to get them made and out the door as fast as we can.
If you are worried about not having something to wrap up & give by a specific date, please message me for a free graphic which you can print and place in a card as a placeholder.
Can you send me a proof/photo to approve before shipping?
I am currently not offering this service. Your journal will be embossed with your requested info and made to match the photo of the listing purchased.

What paper option is best for me/ what is the waterproof paper option?
Blank: Thick 80lb smooth text paper, perfect for writing & drawing, can handle watercolor paints.
Lined: Thick 80lb smooth text paper, with light grey narrow ruled lines, can handle watercolor paint.
Recipe: Thick 80lb smooth text paper, printed with a recipe template for you to fill in your own recipes by hand.
Waterproof paper: 20lb text with waterproof wool based coating, can get wet without damaging your work. Can use any non liquid pens- cheap ball point ones are great, sharpie markers, pencil & crayon. NOT for use with watercolor paints or fountain pens. This feels very similar to regular paper with a slight grip/grit. Available in blank only.
