Announcement Hello all! Thank you for stopping by to look at my 1/12th scale miniature food items. I make each item myself and sometime use bowls, plates and dishes hand made by my other talented friends. These items are intended for collectable dolls houses and are suitable for over 14's - they are not toys and should not be eaten! Please see my 'About' page for much more info on me, what I do and my other businesses. Thank you, Julie :)

Soooooooooooo lovely!!!! Thanks so very much!!
Maker of fine quality 1/12th & 1/24th scale dolls house miniature food
My husband got me into this - it's all his fault! He runs (with me too) Forget-Me-Not Miniatures www.forgetmenotminiatures.co.uk and we have done so for over 20 years now. We make and supply 1/12th scale dolls house furniture and accessories that we retail online and we exhibit up and down the country. David make lots of top quality furniture, especially of the Tudor era but also Victorian, Edwardian and Georgian. I make accessories such as hand bags and curtains, but mostly miniature food items. The food became so popular that I thought I would open an Etsy shop especially for it - and so here I am!
It took quite some time to make the food items look like real food and I think the key is to really look at the real food item before you make it - if you can! It's a little difficult not to eat your Sunday roast and just sit there looking at it, but you know what I mean! I used to make apples and they were like real sized peas - I think I have come on a bit since then... 'Practice' is a word used often and 'oh dear' are two words that get used sometimes, but 'wow' is used more these days and 'I'm pleased with that' is much more frequent, so all is good :)
Two years ago I gave up my day job as the organisation I worked for was changing so much, and not for the better, and so I was able to concentrate more on miniatures. And after much consideration and deliberation, I decided to spread my wings even more by opening an Etsy Craft Shop. I make many kinds of things, this time in real size, for you, your friends & family and your home. I exhibit at fairs up and down the country with these items also and you can see my treasures at www.forgetmenotcrafts114.etsy.com I fancied doing something extra and as I obviously love working with my hands, why not use them even more?! I hope this business is as successful as my counter-parts and we thought that having the 'Forget-Me-Not' name in all would help our customers to remember who we are...forget-me-not? Get it? ;)
I continue to work hard daily, albeit for this business, my husbands business, or my Forget-Me-Not Crafts business and long may it continue. I hope you enjoy my products, appreciate them for what they are and buy lots! Thank you. Please tell your friends.

If you change your mind, don't worry, I will not bite (I may be a bit sad though...) I'll give you 4 days to change your mind, how's that? If you have paid and I have sent it off already, oh dear, but not to worry, just return it to me unopened and undamaged and once received, I will refund straight away. Sorry though, I can't repay the return postage costs...
PLEASE NOTE: If, after posting your item to you, I see that you have overpaid the P&P costs, the difference will be refunded to you. Estimations have to be made on P&P costs when items are placed on Etsy as they are very different to all parts of the world and the amount/size of items can make packaging costs differ. I DO NOT profit from P&P fees and please also note the second 'P' (packaging) as this is included in what you pay - it's not just what you see on the stamp. Any questions - just ask. Thank you.
Refunds and Exchanges
If an item doesn't arrive for whatever reason, please contact me after 15 working days (that's when the post office states a parcel is 'missing'.) I will then sort it one way or the other, either for a refund or for a credit note - or with a replacement if I have one. Please be honest though, I have come unstuck before and I am sure you appreciate, the profit margins are small already...
