5 out of 5 starsThis necklace is one of the most favorite pieces I have ever purchased. The look and length of the blue sandstone necklace is perfect. I had it customized and it came better than I expected.I will definitely make another purchase in the near future.

Care instructions
Forgotten Alchemy malas are hand-knotted between every bead on nylon cord, with handmade cotton tassels. With reasonable care, your mala will hold up to regular wear.
A few tips to keep yours looking its best:
Avoid soaking the tassel. Cotton can stiffen and discolor when wet. If the tassel gets damp, lay the mala flat to air dry.
Limit exposure to perfume, lotion, and oils. These won't damage the nylon, but they can dull the polish on the gemstones over time.
Take it off before bed and before showering. Long-term contact with bedding and shower water shortens the life of any handmade piece.
If your mala breaks within 6 months of purchase, message me and I will restring it for free. See shop policies for full repair details.
What if my mala breaks?
If your Forgotten Alchemy mala breaks within 6 months of purchase under normal wear, I will restring it for free. You cover shipping both ways. After 6 months, re-knotting is available as a paid service starting at $25, with additional costs for tassel upgrades, stone replacements, or full redesigns. Message me through Etsy for details and a quote.
Custom and personalized orders
Yes. If you have a specific stone, color, or intention in mind, message me through Etsy. Custom malas are quoted individually based on materials and design. Lead time is typically 3 to 4 weeks. A 50% deposit is required to start a custom piece.
How do you ship and is it insured?
All malas ship within 1 to 3 business days via USPS First Class with insurance. Free shipping within the United States. International orders are not currently available through Etsy. If you are outside the US and want a piece, message me to discuss a custom shipping quote.
