I'm Tina Pfeiffer, a native Oregonian hunting vintage home goods throughout the beautiful Pacific NW. I studied fine art and art history, and worked in retail merchandising and sales for 20+ years before I began selling vintage. In April 2017, I launched my independent shop at ninedoorsvintage.com.

Home is Milwaukie, Oregon with my husband, Chris, our two rescue cats and a senior Shi Tzu, Mr. Miles. We enjoy the outdoors, traveling, photography, history, music, and great food. We support local businesses, small businesses, and folks that make handmade goods.

In the past ten years I've had the pleasure of selling vintage finds to thousands of customers in over 50 countries worldwide. I've sourced vintage wares for many talented interior designers and magazine prop stylists. I've worked with movie, TV and Broadway stage set designers to make their creative visions come to life.

Welcome to nine doors vintage!

My goal is to offer quality vintage home goods, clear communication and safe and timely shipment. Inventory in this shop is sourced from estate sales, thrift stores, charity shops, antique malls, flea markets and yard sales. All goods are stored in a clean, dry, smoke and perfume-free environment.

Returns and exchange details
All sales are considered final; I do not accept returns unless an item is grossly misrepresented. I do my best to accurately describe each item, and I encourage you to contact me before you purchase to ask questions or request additional photos if needed. I'm happy to help you in advance rather than have you be disappointed with a purchase from my shop.

If your item arrives damaged, please photograph it with the original packaging so I may submit a shipping damage claim.

International customers who refuse or do not retrieve a package are not eligible for a refund. If your postal office returns your package to me due to non-pickup or unpaid customs fees I will restock and resell the item(s), and no refund will be given.

As-Is Policy:
Most of the items sold in this shop are vintage, have lived a former life, sometimes with multiple owners, and as such are presented AS FOUND and AS IS. I perform basic functionality testing and basic cleaning on all items but do not provide repair advice post sale.

Electronics Policy:
All electronics sold in this shop (AC or DC operation) are given basic functionality testing before listing, are sold as-found and all sales are final. Your purchase of an electronic item from this shop assumes you know and accept the risks inherent with vintage electronic devices. I cannot guarantee electronic components, cords, plugs or the longevity of functionality. If an electronic item is damaged by the shipping company my regular damaged shipment policy applies.
Payment
I accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and debit cards via Etsy's Direct Checkout. I also accept PayPal, Apple Pay, Sofort, Klarna and iDeal as well as Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits. Confirmations, shipment details and any updates on your order will be sent to your Etsy account.

Reserves/Layaway:
I will reserve an item for up to 48 hours on request. I do not offer layaway payments or accept swap requests.
Shipping
I ship at least twice per week except on US holidays. Please check my shop announcement at the BOTTOM OF MY HOME PAGE for the most up-to-date information on shop closures and delays.

Order Processing:
Time to prep and pack your order varies between 1-5 business days; please view individual item listings for processing times. Processing time does not include the time in transit from me to you. Transit times vary by the distance from my location (Oregon, USA) to yours and may be delayed by weather or holidays. Expedited shipping is available for an additional cost but delivery is only guaranteed if you request FedEx Express prior to purchase.

Worldwide Shipping:
International shoppers are welcome and most International orders are sent via USPS first class or USPS Priority Service. Please message me prior to purchase if you need Express Service.

Local Meet Up or Delivery:
Portland and Milwaukie, Oregon region - I do not have a brick and mortar shop but can arrange a FREE local meet ups at three locations. I offer local delivery for a fee in the Portland Metro Area (not all suburbs are included). If you are interested in a local meet up or delivery please message me for details.

Insurance:
Insurance and tracking are included in the shipping cost for orders shipping via USPS Priority Service to addresses within the USA. Indemnity insurance applies for orders shipping via USPS Priority International Service.

Packaging and Shipping Cost:
Most of the items I sell require inner packing materials for safety en route which adds to the final size and weight of the package and determines the shipping price.

PLEASE NOTE: AS OF 7/1/19 USPS RATES HAVE INCREASED AND WILL AFFECT ORDERS SHIPPING DOMESTIC OR INTERNATIONAL. I strive to use the safest, most cost effective method for shipping orders both domestic and abroad.

Combined Shipping:
I combine shipping whenever practical; exceptions include furniture, large art, large mirrors, and some fragile items which will be noted in each listing.

International Shipping:
I have shipped items to over 50 countries worldwide. Most items can be sent Internationally, and shipping costs for overseas shoppers are available by choosing the 'Everywhere Else' option at checkout. Please check individual listings for items that are not available for shipment outside of North America.

Customs Fees:
International shoppers are responsible for any customs fees, taxes, VAT, tariffs, brokerage fees and duties associated with shipping to their respective countries, should they be assessed. Per US law all International orders will include a custom form marked as containing merchandise not gifts.

Rush Shipping:
If you need your order sooner than the stated processing time, please message me prior to purchase and I will do my best to accommodate your request.

Eco-Friendly Policy:
All orders are shipped with protective outer and inner packaging materials. I recycle clean used packing materials whenever possible. Please recycle on your end.

Do you ship Internationally?

Yes, I can ship most items worldwide. Each listing will include information stating if the item is available for shipment outside the US. Please use the 'Everywhere Else' option at checkout for countries outside the US or Canada. International buyers are responsible for any custom fee, import fees, duties and/or taxes.

Do you combine shipping?

Yes, I combine shipping whenever feasible. Because my inventory varies by sizes and weights I do not list a combined shipping price. Exclusions include furniture, large mirrors, large artwork and some fragile items. Each listing will state if the item is not available for combined shipping. Please message me prior to purchase if you have any questions.

Can you use a different shipping method to reduce the cost?

I always seek to use the best method to ship your order based on price and safety. Most orders include insurance and tracking. I also offer combined shipping whenever feasible.

Portland Metro Area - I can arrange a local pick up in my area or local delivery for a $15-20 fee (not all suburbs are included). Please message me for details.

Do you offer reserves, accept offers on items or accept trades in lieu of payment?

I will reserve an item up to 72 hours if you contact me via Etsy.

Prices are typically firm during the first four months but I am willing to consider reasonable offers. I reserve the right to refuse any offer.

I do not offer layaway or accept trades.

Wholesale availability

The items I sell are mainly used goods sourced from secondhand shops and estate sales. I do not manufacture and I do not buy or sell at wholesale prices. I only offer each item at the quantity shown in each listing.

Can you ship this piece/set of furniture?

I do not offer shipping on large furniture items. Local pickup or delivery are available for the Portland Metro area; details are outlined in each listing description.
