I ordered custom coasters as a gift for my PhD advisor. They turned out even better than I could have imagined. I am so pleased! The seller was very easy to work with and asked me questions so that I could receive exactly what I wanted. Everything shipped quickly and was very well padded. I will definitely order from Foster's Beauties again and I recommend that you do too!

A gorgeous bowl. I will use it year around as a fruit bowl. Thanks for the beautiful magnet. Great sellers!
Creativity Is A Family Passion
Foster's Beauties is, first and foremost, a family business. Scott, Aviva and Ellianna work individually and together to make functional art for the home, which we sell here on Etsy as well as at local art shows.
Scott began woodworking in 2000, making furniture for our then-new home. A decade later, he picked up a lathe at an estate sale intending to use it to make furniture legs, but instead Scott delved into woodturning and hasn't looked back. His passion is segmented woodturning. He is self-taught. When Scott isn't working his day job or his lathe, he's usually haunting the roller-skating rink, where he competes in dance and figures.
Aviva has always loved exploring color and texture. After a lengthy love affair with fabric, a chance encounter with fused glass swept her off her feet and that is where her passion has remained. She enjoys making flameworked components to use in her fused glass creations. And when she's not making glass, she probably has her nose in a book.
Ellianna has been making art in one form or another since her toddler days. She has both turned bowls on a lathe and made fused glass bowls. Lately, she has cast a covetous eye on Aviva's glass torch, but hasn't yet had an opportunity to use it. Ellie, a fourth-grader, is an avid reader who also roller skates competitively and greatly enjoys adding to her medal collection.
All our work is created and stored in a smoke-free and pet-free environment.
Owner, Maker, Designer
Foster's Beauties is a FAMILY business, and we each play our role. We are all passionate about fused glass, working independently and cooperatively on our various projects. And we love having a business that can feature all our creations.
I'm all about color, whether glass, fabric or beads. Finding the colors that look best together, combinations that are new or old favorites, is my favorite part of making art.
Woodworking has been my passion for over a decade, first in furniture making and then woodturning. Lately, I've been obsessed with kiln glass. If I'm not at the office or in my studio, I'm spending time with my family and/or at the roller rink.
Maker, Child Artist
Ellianna is in fifth grade, but has loved making art since her toddler days. Her favorite media include glass, oil pastels, colored pencils, paint and textiles. Ellie's other hobbies include artistic roller skating and reading.
