There was a small hiccup in the purchase of this order, but the seller was prompt and helpful in correcting the problem and communication was very easy. The item is well-made and beautiful and was well-received by my sister, to whom I gave it for Mother's Day.

About

Fate, kismet, or the legacy of the fairy godmothers

Way back in 2005 I had a fresh B.A. in Studio Arts, a lot of retail and restaurant experience, and all the time in the world on my hands.

To soothe my restless nature I kept doing what I'd been doing for the last few years. I made things. As luck would have it, Etsy had just opened her virtual doors. Kismet! An online handmade marketplace was exactly what I needed.

Over the next few years my work changed a lot. I became a metalsmith. The business blossomed and I started to think of myself as an entrepreneur. Then it blossomed a bit too much, wilted under the strain, and I had a chance to prune back to the parts I love most. Every step of the way I've had this tribe of fairy godmothers following me around, buying my work and saying the sweetest things. I am so, so grateful to all of you for that.

These days I work when I can from a little studio in the old house I'm fixing up. I make jewelry from recycled silver and paper and resin. I hope that the jewelry you chose makes you feel beautiful, melts your heart or makes you smile. And I hope that you will love it.

Hi! I'm Betsy. I'm a metalsmith and mixed media artist. I love happy feelings, the smell that wafts up from the pages of old books and things that exist for beauty's sake.

Payment
Payment is accepted via PayPal. Orders will not be shipped, and custom orders not begun, until payment is received.
Shipping
Shipment of ready to ship items within 5-7 days. Custom work and made to order items will take 1-4 weeks to complete, depending on the scale of the project and the number of pieces. I can give you a more concrete idea of when your order will ship at the time of purchase if you like.

Orders within the US are sent via USPS First Class mail with delivery confirmation. International orders are shipped via USPS First Class, as well. Shipping time varies depending on where you are, and tracking is not available. If you'd like a faster, trackable option please contact me.

We have found that orders shipped via Priority Mail from our location normally arrive at their destination in 2 to 3 days (within the US). However, USPS Priority Mail is not guaranteed and has, on rare occasions, taken up to 2 weeks. If your order is time critical, we strongly suggest that you choose UPS shipping (which is guaranteed) to insure your order arrives on time. UPS business days are Monday through Friday.

If you prefer to ship via UPS please convo me for arrangements.

I cannot be responsible for taxes or customs fees levied against packages shipped overseas.
Refunds and Exchanges
Damaged items should be returned within 7 days of their arrival. Non-damaged items may be returned for store credit.

Please contact me before returning.
