I love the color of ink. Very nice

I was running out of the Jane Austen ink, which I love, and wanted to order more, and Mr. Fox recommended I try the Iron Throne, and it’s amazing. It’s perfect for lots of writing. I’m almost out of it already and most definitely will order it again. This is the only iron gall ink I’ll be using from now on, and I have tried many.

The ink is amazing! It’s such a pretty color and I can’t wait to use it in my projects. I’m coming back for the larger size once I’m through with this one

Ink that smells like wine! Mr. Fox is an alchemist.

It's gum arabic. Just as it says. I use it to thicken fountain pen ink so it flows well off a calligraphy nib. Normally, FP inks flow far too wet from a dip nib so you don't see the shading, can't control the swells, and can't get a good hair line. Just put a few drops (and a couple drops of water) in a small test tube of Noodler's Squeteague and now I have a heavily shading ink in a lovely blue that retains excellent hair lines. If you've used arabic before, expect to use less of this. It's liquid, but thicker than other liquid arabic you might purchase.

Mr. Fox has done it again! The Victoria Iron Gall is one of my new favorites from Fox and Quills. I have always been a fan of walnut ink, but never quite got the knack of the right mixture! This ink gives all the joy of a historic vibe, while maintaining precise consistency. A true pleasure to write with!
