Announcement   Unique, handmade llama fibre homewares. Llama poo paper, llama fibre paper, handmade recycled paper, bird nesters and more. Shipping worldwide from Australia.

Items listed in our store are hand made by myself in Crossman, Western Australia.

Llama fibre products are made with the fibre from our own llamas. They are entirely home grown and colours depend on the natural colours of our animals. Creating items with fibre from animals we have raised is a fun, rewarding and dusty process! These products are truly home grown and handmade from start to finish.

All botanicals used in my paper is from our home gardens. The paper is sun and air dried. Llama Poo Paper is the result of merging a love of paper-making and llama products. I have made paper since I was a child and am always looking for something new and interesting to do. Flowers and the usual additions to recycled paper are beautiful, but we are also an adventurous little llama farm :) The manure is sanitised before it is used in my paper-making.

I love the uniqueness of every piece of paper and the variance of all handmade items. No item can ever be entirely the same as the next. In my listings I aim to describe my items fully and honestly. If you have any questions about item details, please ask and I will answer them the best I can and as quickly as I can.

I hope you love my handmade items as much as I enjoy making them for you.

Free delivery is available to the town of Boddington with code BODD6390 - please contact to arrange prior to purchase.

For Western Australian customers, our products are available at The Artisan Store in Fremantle. The store has a beautiful range of art and gifts made by local artisans.

About

Llama Fibre Products, Handmade Papers and More ...

Thank you for visiting my store!

I live in Western Australia about an hour south of Perth and am a mother of three. My husband and I keep a herd of llamas - animals I fell in love with as a child. I have been papermaking since I was about 8 years old and love to make use of any materials available. The store was opened after I decided to add sanitised llama manure to my papermaking one day. I was making paper outdoors with the llamas nearby and a particular comment from a stranger about one of the elderly llamas being 'worthless' was playing on my mind. Wanting to ensure that these amazing animals have visible worth, my products gained momentum from there.

My challenge is to create tangible worth for each animal on our property, young, old or rescued. As the store grows, so does the value of each animal and my ability to provide for their needs. I truly believe that very little is worthless and that an idea can be all it takes to add real value to something.

We shear our llamas each year and I process the fibre until a completed product is created. Each animal has a different fibre type, colour or pattern and this is guides me in creating products that are as unique as the llamas themselves. They are such enchanting, unique animals and I hope to be able to create products that call to the love of nature in you, celebrate llamas, their quirky curiosity and their surrounds at Fox Hill.
