Hi! I'm Frances Marin. I love dreaming up imagery around daily familiarities, dreams, nature, mystery, memory and humor in my work. Dwellings, the natural world and people are found. I'm heavily influenced by my surroundings in the diverse state of California.

My Costa Rican and Australian background along with growing up exploring the West Coast have provided me with a deep love of nature. I grew up wandering the Santa Cruz Mountains and extensively camping the West Coast. I live and work in San Jose, CA.

When you order from my shop, I often deliver your package to the post office by bicycle.

I love creating custom work for my customers. Painting the people and pets they love is most definitely a happy job to have. If you would like a unique artwork or design, please contact me and we can discuss.

Being a part of Etsy has afforded me many awesome opportunities, from shipping art as far as South Africa and Belgium to being a part of a West Elm Pop-up Shop in Emeryville, CA and now as a Craft Entrepreneurship teacher.
