Black stone came off and luckily I found it in my shirt. Disappointed that I have to try to put it back together.

Earrings are as described and I received them in a few days. They are a light earring which is great for people who don't want a lot of weight on their ears.

About

Many Hats

I have always been a small business owner. During the past 22 years my husband and I have owned IT support and computer manufacturing companies, consulting companies, and most recently an internet service. My position has been that of accountant, financier, corporate secretary, human resources, marketing, and anything else that didn't involve the technical side!

I began my jewelry business by accident. Two years ago I decided to make jewelry for Christmas. To my surprise, I enjoyed the process so much I wanted to keep going. But what to do with all of this jewelry? A business was born.

The process of creating a piece is very therapeutic. An idea forms in my imagination; inspired by colors, a piece of art, a place; and I begin to visualize the finished piece. I begin to gather materials based on what the finished piece will look like. During this process I research sources, looking for the perfect stone or metal to complete the piece.

The hunt is part of the fun in my creative process, allowing me to explore shapes or alternative colors. Often the finished piece is how I envisioned, however, if I come across an inspiring stone another idea is formed.

I love this creative outlet. It is very different from my accounting duties and a welcome release for my imagination.

It is a pleasure to add a little beauty to the world.
