About frenone

On Etsy since 2017

Meet Kim

Never satisfied with a single creative outlet, I continue to pursue new hobbies (which always turn into work eventually, haha) and create fun new products with the support of my Patrons.

I started working with resin in august 2019 and I became a little obsessed with it, dividing my time roughly equally between (digital) paint & epoxy. I now sell my jewelry exclusively through Etsy, and aim to reopen my store once a month with new collections of earrings, pendants and bracelets - as well as other merchandise like enamel pins and keychains.

My plans for 2020 are:
- to develop an original collection of jewelry with wood and resin
- to create the artwork for a new card deck
- to add new products, including artwork prints, notebooks and other stationery to my store
- to lower the environmental impact by switching to sustainable resin and ecofriendly packaging material (currently 90% eco-friendly)

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story! If you want to stay updated on new art & products, get sneak peeks or discounts, follow me on Twitter and Instagram @frenone or become a Patron on

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

Use mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth to clean your resin jewelry, and be sure to store it in a dark place when you aren't wearing it. UV light may cause some slight yellowing over time.

Resin is a relatively soft material, which is easy to scratch and sensitive to chemicals. Water does not have any effect on resin, but it may tarnish the metal.

Take off your jewelry before showering, swimming, sleeping, working out and avoid contact with products such as perfume or lotion. Do not clean the resin with alcohol, acetone, oil or other chemicals.

Jewelry information & specifications

All resin jewelry is handmade. Minor imperfections may occur. These are oftentimes only noticable from up close (like tiny air bubbles, some cloudiness or a less smooth surface, often on the backside). Noticable imperfections, such as bigger air pockets, areas of muddy or overblended colors, rough edges or otherwise visible flaws will be described in the listing and the price will be adjusted accordingly.

Necklaces, earrings and other metal parts and accessories use imitation gold and silver. These parts are not real gold or sterling silver, unless explicitly listed as real gold or sterling silver. Most of the items use metals like zinc alloy, brass, bronze or copper. These metals tarnish eventually.
