Announcement   Welcome! I've changed the name of the shop to reflect the fact that I'm slowly adding new items to it, including knitting, sewing, and portraits! Of course the micro guitars are still the main focus, and I'm still making custom pendants.

I got this necklace for my sister as a Christmas present and she loved it so much, it was her favorite gift. Thank you!

This necklace is incredible. I gasped when I opened the little box. The level of detail is amazing! Kathryn even repainted it for me to make sure the color was exactly right. I wear it every day, so I'll definitely be getting another one soon!

About

A Crafty Fiend.

It all started with geekery. I made a Muse guitar that my Doctor Who action figures could hold, and everyone said I should make necklace sized versions - and here we are!

Hello there! Thank you for your interest in my pendants.
These pendants are cut and shaped by hand as one piece from 1/8" birch plywood, using a Dremel tool and sandpaper. They are then painted with acrylics and finished with varnish that's made for outdoor furniture. The finished product is durable for wear!

Please keep in mind that these are handmade works of art, and though they are durable, I would not recommend wearing these in water (swimming, bathing, etc). The varnish is water resistant, but not completely water proof, especially when chemicals are involved.

Custom and personalized orders

I can make a miniature version of just about any guitar, provided good photos of the actual instrument! Pricing depends on difficulty of guitar shape and paint job, so please send a message with photos! :)

Care instructions

All pendants and ornaments are made from one piece of 1/8" birch plywood, and finished with varnish that's made for outdoor furniture. This makes the tiny guitars quite durable - but keep in mind, they are handmade works of art, so treat them like you would a favourite piece of jewelry (if this is one!). It is not recommended to wear these while swimming or bathing, as the varnish is water resistant but not waterPROOF, especially when chemicals are involved.
