5 out of 5 starsJust got my syringe and have already inoculated my tester bags, LC and agar. Syringe was well colonized and looked clear. Myc was fluffy and well populated.

4 out of 5 starsNot usable for mycology purposes. It is made with polyester, so not able to disinfect or if you spill would be hard to keep clean. I tried to cancel order day after placed order and seller was rude. Was told this is how business goes. Would not cancel. This was for a gift, it didn't arrive on time. Same day I purchased I placed order to UK. I got package from UK faster than this item.

Frequently asked questions
How long will the cultures last?
Cultures will be viable for about a year if kept refrigerated and may be viable for years. We recommend using as soon as possible as vigor will decrease over time.
What is the best way to store the cultures?
The best way to store our gourmet mushroom cultures long term is to refrigerate them (logo up for plates) and keep them out of direct light.
What substrates should I use to grow the gourmet mushrooms?
Substrate preferences can vary from strain to strain, but overall we grow our mushrooms on hardwoods supplemented with wheat bran or soy and all the varieties will perform well on this type of substrate.
Care instructions
Due to the time-sensitive nature of mycelium, cultures should be used as soon as possible. Returns/refunds will not be accepted after 1 week from delivery. If needed to be stored, place in a refrigerator agar-side up.
