Comencé a enseñarme a coser en una máquina de coser a mano hace unos once años. En ese momento, estaba haciendo muchas joyas de cáñamo y pensé que sería bueno hacer una bolsa con mangos de cáñamo y macramé.
Después de eso, comencé a hacer muñecas de tela intrincadas que son aproximadamente la cosa más linda que hayas visto.
Avanzando rápidamente hasta 2020 y el brote de COVID-19, comencé a usar mi personal de tela para hacer máscaras, y se convirtió, como, en un segundo trabajo a tiempo completo. Oh, por cierto, mi primer trabajo a tiempo completo es como madre, luego como dama de recursos humanos, ¡así que supongo que coser es mi tercer trabajo a tiempo completo!
Creo en el uso de nuestros dones para servir, enriquecer o beneficiar la vida de los demás, y siento que hacer máscaras en estos tiempos inciertos no solo me ha quitado la mente del mundo que se ha vuelto loco, sino que también ha traído algo de tranquilidad a quienes se las ponen.
Ahora, estoy en mi amada tela de diseñador, y las estoy compartiendo con ustedes.

I began teaching myself how to sew on a hand-me-down sewing machine about eleven years ago. At the time, I was making a lot of hemp jewelry and thought it would be neat to make a bag with hemp, macrame handles.
After that, I began to make intricate fabric dolls that are about the cutest thing you've ever seen!
Fast forward to 2020 and the COVID-19 outbreak, I began using up my fabric staff to make masks, and it became, like, a second full-time job. Oh, by the way, my first full-time job is as a mom, then an HR lady, so I guess sewing is my third full-time job!
I believe in using our gifts to serve, enrich, or benefit the lives of others, and I feel that making masks in these uncertain times has not only taken my mind off of the world gone wild, but also brought some peace of mind to those who don them.
Now, I am down to my beloved designer fabric, and am sharing them with you.
I hope you are as pleased as I am with them. And if you're not, I will do my best to rectify the situation. Please note, these are retired fabrics that I have had for years, and therefore, the supply is limited.
