We now offer many different fiber types for your projects from 100% plant-based fibers to traditional wool tops. Be sure to check back often for our custom hand-dyed and hand-spun selections. Our exotic fibers are 100% humanely harvested fibers. We continue to offer 70/30 dyed merino & silk blends originally from Ashland Bay. Custom blends of various fibers continue to excite our creative spirit and we will continue to share these with you.
We hope you enjoy exploring our shop for a variety of fiber offerings we have available for your spinning, knitting and felting pleasure. We stock the complete line of solid and multi-colored Merino combed top originally from Ashland Bay that is now handled by Foxglove Fiber Arts Supply. We order from them on a regular basis in order to keep our inventory well stocked. Let us know if you need a large quantity of a particular color and we can call in an order.
We do our best to accurately represent the color but there are differences between device displays and the real thing. We find some colors just seem to give us problems with digital images. If there are Ashland Bay fibers you are interested in but are concerned about the exact color, please don't hesitate to contact the shop. We will be happy to mail you a sample. The listings for dyed merino are in amounts of 4 ounces but we will gladly set up a custom reserve listing for other amounts in the colors of your choice. Just contact us for details.
Our Angora rabbits have requested a little lap time and we hand-pluck the fiber to provide long length fiber for your projects. Peg is still creating new skeins of luxurious handspun angora so check back often to see the latest listings. In addition to classic white and the soft natural colors, we offer dyed angora skeins. Pure Angora is perfect for lining hats and mittens for winter.

5 out of 5 starsI've been really into both humbug combed tops and interesting fiber blends lately and this shop had a lot to choose from. I'm very happy with every item!

5 out of 5 starsVery high quality. I thought it would be difficult to blend these two very different fibers, but they seem to be well distributed into each other, making for a beautifully spun yarn.

Needle Felted Sheep
No Fiber Left Behind!!
Jan and Peg are sometimes referred to as "The Spin Free or Dye Girls." Our tagline is a play on the words of the New Hampshire State motto "Live Free or Die." For most of our products, Peg is the spinner and needle felter while Jan focuses on the dyeing.
Peg's farm is home to llamas, sheep and angora rabbits. She uses their fiber as well as yak, bison, qiviut, cashmere, camelid and silk to create carded batts and handspun yarn.
Peg specializes in the creation of fine lace-weight yarns and enjoys knitting lace shawls in the Orenburg style. She also provides custom spinning for pet owners who save the brushed fiber from their dogs and cats.
Jan is a retired teacher whose love of fiber has grown under the mentorship of Peg and she especially enjoys creating dyed rovings. blended batts as well as creating felted items such as pins, jewelry and a variety of knitting/spinning accessories.
