About frivolousdistinction
Vintage-Inspired Patterns for Today
Frivolous Distinction designs are made with an eclectic mixture of new fabrics and trimmings and like-new thrifted and repurposed finds. This means that the inventory is always changing and every piece is part of a very short, unique run! It's like a treasure hunt, pulling together the fabrics, buttons, and trims for a new design.
I love to use lace, pintucks, and embroidery to give just the right touch of vintage girliness, and decorative rows of topstitching are a favorite!
Frivolous Distinction garments are fully finished inside--no raw edges here!--for a piece that's as beautiful inside as it is out. Lining, bias bound seams, and french seams give a quality heirloom look.
I am also on Etsy as Hint of History:
