About

More baby clothes than babies.

My Ma and I have always loved to knit and sew. For years we'd hang out for birthdays, Christmas, graduations - anything, really, where we could make something for someone.

With the need for baby quilts diminishing, and Ma's skills only increasing, we decided we'd see if anyone would actually pay for our products. Could we actually make things people thought were good enough buy.

In November, 2011, we started at our first market, the Hall Markets, running Monthly in Canberra, Australia. And we really haven't looked back since.

After two years of work, we've finally managed to hone our target market, and get an idea as to what people are after -- which turns out is what we like to make!

We do more than hand knitted clothes, we make cot quilts, sewn winter and summer two and three piece sets, and other baby accessories. Please let us know if you are interested in anything we do, as we are more than happy to make to order.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

We happily accept custom orders. Sometimes we need to put this on hold due to the amount of work we're undertaking, but we will always try to meet your requests.

We generally charge the same for custom orders as we do for ready made pieces. Please note this is subject to the availability of the wool or fabrics needed to make the item. Rosie and Jen collect fabric from far reaching places, and some they can't get again. Please see our Available Fabrics album on Facebook for current fabrics.

For wool, we primarily use Bendigo Woollen Mills (http://www.bendigowoollenmills.com.au/). If we need to buy extra wool, or a specific wool for you, we may need to add additional costs onto the order, and will discuss this with you.

Sizing details

We use Australian sizes to determine the age range of our products. These are guides only, as all babies and toddlers are all different. Please measure clothes they currently fit into, and see if that compares the the measurements on the listing. If buying a jacket, cardigan or jumper, consider room to grow, and room to fit clothes underneath.

If you're not sure, please contact us as we're only too happy to help. We'd rather you get an item which can be lovingly worn to death, than one which is outgrown all too fast.

Shipping protection

We've recently had a poor experience with missing mail and a lost item. We now have the added option of signature on delivery for all our items and we strongly recommend you take up the option!

Size availability

Our standard size range is 00-2, Australian sizes, approximately 3 months to 2 years. We do consider custom orders for size 000 and size 3, but it all depends on the pattern.

Please keep in mind that past a size 2, the costs for knitted cardigens/jumpers and sewn overalls and dresses increase and we do charge more for these sizes in comparison to our standard range.

Happy to discuss any potential orders with you.
