Welcome to my modest little shop! Here you'll find a great variety of handcrafted soaps and lotion made with our own goat's milk, and some other handmade fabric items. Great for gifting!

All in-stock items will be shipped out within 1-2 of your order (excluding weekends). Please note that many items are made-to-order and can take up to two weeks for delivery. Made-to-order items will be marked as such.

Don't see a fragrance, color, size, or variety that you want? I'm happy to craft made-to-order soap and lotion to meet your particular needs, including bulk orders for special events.

Please e-mail me with any questions, suggestions, or requests. And, as always, thanks for stopping by!

Additional policies and FAQs
All of my soaps are made the old fashioned cold process method with fresh-squeezed goat milk, lye, local lard, fragrances, and pigments. That's it.

Are your soaps 100% natural?

Yes...and no. All of my soaps start with the same all-natural base recipe: lard, goat milk, and lye. The Pure & Simple Lard Soap, for example, is 100% natural. Soaps made with essential oils and natural pigments are also 100% natural. Please check the ingredients list if you are concerned.

To add diversity and variety, many of my soaps are made with fragrance oils and mica pigments. While these synthetic additives are 100% safe for use in body products, soaps that use them cannot be technically labeled as "all-natural".

Are your lotions all-natural?

Technically, no. While you won't find a laundry list of names you can't pronounce in my lotions, they do contain a preservative, sorbic acid, that is necessary for keeping the milk from going bad. Without it, the lotion would need to be refrigerated and would not last as long. All other ingredients, however, are 100% natural (excluding fragrance oils, if used).

A note on lye:

Lye (sodium hydroxide) is a natural alkaline chemical. Though caustic in its raw form, is necessary to make real soap. However, there is no lye left over after the saponification process (lye binds with fats to create soap) and full cure.
