Uniquely Handcrafted ~ Inspired by Nature

I have always loved creating. During my childhood, I loved making small things. I would make puppies out of pipe cleaners, cut paper silhouettes of horses and write tiny novels on 2 inch pages, proudly stapled together.

As I've gotten older, I still love creating. I love how art and design is a way to express the things that inspire us. Now I get to do something that I love, creating pieces inspired by the beauty that is everyday.

Frosted Feathers is inspired by the golden paved paths of autumn, the fluffy sparkles of the first snowfall and the crisp silence of waking up to hoarfrost. It is inspired by the robin basking in the springtime sun as it thaws the chill of winter. It is inspired by honesty and integrity, kind words and quirky jokes, smiles exchanged with strangers and hugs that stop time.

Thank you for visiting Frosted Feathers, it is an honor to have you! I hope that you will enjoy my work as much as I enjoying creating it, and that you may also be inspired and reminded to look for the beauty in the everyday.

Frequently asked questions
Handmade Jewelry Care

General Jewelry Care:
To keep your handmade jewellery in tip top shape, avoid exposure to moisture, chemicals or oils. It is good habit to put jewelry on last after beauty products such as makeup, lotions, perfumes or hairsprays. Remember to remove your jewelry before sleeping, bathing, practicing sports.

To remove buildup of oils or lotions, most handmade jewelry can be cleaned with a soft cloth. If needed, warm water with bit of mild dish detergent may be used. Only only slightly damp cloth, and makes sure to thoroughly dry after cleaning.

When not wearing your jewelry, prevent tarnish by keeping your jewelry in a bag or a jewelry box (or both!). Air tight storage is ideal for best lasting protection. Store in a dark

Sterling Silver Jewelry Care

For Sterling Silver:
Silver tarnishes as a result of being in contact with oxygen or moisture. Store sterling silver jewelry in a jewelry box or plastic bag, keeping pieces separate to avoid abrasion. If over time you notice some tarnish on your silver, gently polish silver using a soft or microfiber cloth. Avoid using chemicals or abrasive polishing products that may damage the surface of the resin.

Resin Jewelry Care

Resin Jewelry: Your wearable art jewelry is sealed in hand-poured resin to preserve the artwork for years to come. To ensure the surface of your resin jewelry stays clear and shiny, prevent scratches by avoiding exposure to abrasion, sharp objects or extreme heat.
