Orders more than $30 MUST BE INSURED and this will be included in shipping. Contact us and we will reserve your items with correct postage. Australia, and the UK can be shipped closer to the price I have listed for Canada...usually for 25-cents more than the listed price for Canada.

Destinations other than Canada, Australia, and the UK will be sent Priority Mail Flat Rate Small Box with Certificate of Mailing which costs $14.60 for any amount of beads you want to order. I hear that Priority Mail has much less chance of getting lost. Our postal system will not insure the small box, but I can get U-PIC Shipping Insurance online for your package for $1.85.

PLEASE NOTE: We will not lie on customs forms, so please do not ask us to do so. The fines and penalties for falsifying customs forms would shut us down for good, and we will not risk this. Customers are expected to pay all duties and taxes on their shipments.

Hi! We're so delighted that you're here!

I'm Mendy...but this is my family's shop. I do most of the photos, listings and shipping for us...which is why I may mix up the pronouns all over this shop (I, we, us, me). I'm not actually using the royal "we" by any stretch of the imagination! Let me just be clear about that! LOL!

My husband runs the non-cyber part of our business and has put our little family company together and came up with our collective name: Frozen Liquid Art. He books the shows and demos and does the taxes...thank goodness! He's also the one who got all of us addicted to lampworking. For more about us, see our shop announcement and profile.

All of the handmade items you see here is made by one or the other of us...except for the few art and craft supplies I may list from time to time.

My son, who is also a drummer in a band, doesn't have anything listed at this time. We sold all of his pendants at recent shows and he's been too busy to come up with more lately, since his band has had quite a few gigs in St. Louis and Chicago.

Feel free to look around and convo me if you have any questions. I personally don't take requests for items, but my husband will do custom orders for his items. I guess I've spent so many years working in a factory (Capitol Records) that custom orders feel a little too much like manufacturing to me.

Payment
Payment must be made through PayPal within 3 days of placing your order unless other arrangements have been made BEFORE your purchase.

PLEASE NOTE: If you won't be paying immediately, please let me know when to expect your payment by writing a note when ordering or convoing me after completing your order.

If some unexpected issue causes a delay with your planned payment, please let me know so we can work something out.

Please don't give me dead silence and keep me wondering if your order was a mistake, or you've changed your mind, or if something is wrong. If that happens I'll have to cancel the sale, re-list the item/s, report the non-payment to Etsy and give negative feedback.

I very rarely have this problem. Most Etsy people are just the best-ever customers! But when this happens it makes me worry...worry...worry! Please...I beg you...if you like doing business this way, please don't do business with us.
Shipping
We try to ship at the lowest rate we can to save our customers money. It's tricky, though, with the larger glass items (if you've ordered more than one item) since they have to be packed in packing peanuts and boxes.We've estimated a little high with them to be sure the shipping cost is covered.

If you've overpaid on shipping, we will refund all over-payments over $1. Or, if you prefer, you may wait to pay until after your order is packaged and we can send you a PayPal Invoice for the order with the exact shipping. That way PayPal won't be making extra money on the refund and you won't have to wait on PayPal to credit your account.

I really hate to give...and especially to get...PayPal Refunds, because PayPal takes out extra fees on the receiving end. So, the receiver doesn't get the entire refund back, and PayPal gets paid fees twice on the same money.

Sooooo...Please convo us if you want to be invoiced for a multiple item shipment. We will be delighted to accommodate you, while keeping PayPal from getting too wealthy! LOL!

In the event that you've found something else that you want right after you've made your order (and you're really certain your order hasn't shipped yet,) you can send a convo and let me know what happened. That way it can be shipped with the rest of your order and you can save money on postage. We can do this one of 2 ways:

1) You can go ahead and place an order for the items you want (if you're afraid of losing them to another buyer) and then contact me for a PayPal Invoice with corrected postage. Wait to pay for the additional items until you get an invoice I'll send from the PayPal site.

OR....

2) You can contact me and I will reserve the items for you, changing the postage in each listing to the correct "shipped with another item" cost. That way, when you pay through Etsy, you won't be charged primary postage costs.

We try to ship out your items as quickly as we possibly can, so fast communication is the key if you want to add items to your order.

Refunds and Exchanges
If you would like your package insured, please let me know and I will make a special insurance listing for you. We can't be held responsible for items once they leave our hands. Insurance costs are $1.95.

Working as we do with glass, we have really learned how to package our items so that they will arrive in one piece. The way I ship my more delicate sculptural beads, it is nearly impossible for them to get broken. I place them in a small plastic bottle with bubble wrap, then they go into a bubble mailer. My husband's items are bubble wrapped, put into gift boxes, then packed in a large corrugated cardboard box with packing peanuts all around them. So far we've never had any breakage (knock on wood!), so we must be doing something right!

We want you to be happy with your purchases, though. So if you would like a refund on your item (minus postage and insurance cost) please contact us within 7 days of receiving it so we can make arrangements. We will give refunds upon return of the item in the same condition it was sent.
