Vintage Design Ceramics Handmade for your Home & Garden

Hello, I’m Wendy, I’m a ceramic artist and graphic web designer. I have a degree in multimedia web design. It was my elective pottery class and my love of plaster that Fruitfly Pie became.

All vintage design ceramics are made from scratch. I slip cast them using vintage ceramic molds. Each item is dried and cleaned and then fired using my electric kilns. Then each piece is hand painted by me and fired one last time, to turn the glaze to glass.`

All my coffee mugs are commercial mugs with my original illustrations professionally printed onto them. They are made from a production partner. Using this production partner allows me to be able to share my illustrations.

Fruitfly Pie T-shirts are printed through a production partner. They allow me to offer my original illustrations on clothing.

All glazes are non-toxic, lead-free & food safe.

Fruitfly Pie is run exclusively online. I work out of my ceramic studio located beside my home in a rural area in South Florida.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
Theft insurance for US buyers: If you would like to have full insurance coverage, that covers theft, which is when your order is shipped and status shows delivered but not there. Contact me before purchase and I will purchase signature confirmation. This will cover theft because it cannot happen. Your package will only be delivered to a signature from you or someone in your home. Cost is about $2.10 for $50 or less
Recommend if you live in an Apartment, Suite, Condo, Duplex or Busy neighborhood.

What to do if your order is lost or damaged:

Damaged items for both US and International: A photo of damaged item is required for replacement. Just email me the photo and let me know your item was damaged.
I will then file a claim with UPS, or USPS. Please keep all packing materials and the item and once the claim has gone through, I will have your replacement shipped right out. Orders will have to be remade and will be done so as number one priority over all other orders.

Lost items in the US: Your tracking number must show your item was never delivered. Post office Insurance will not cover lost items if the tracking number shows it was delivered.
If your order is missing from theft I cannot replace it, it is not my fault, you will need to file a claim with your post office in the event that it may be found and returned to you.
Please request signature confirmation so this will not happen before purchasing. Cost is $2.10 for $50 or less package. Let me know and I will include it in shipping or send invoice if you have already paid

Lost items for international: I can only replace lost items shipped with insurance with tracking. Insurance is available upon request. Only one lost package in 15 years and that is because the International buyer was out of town.

Please read listing information for size and color.
Colors may appear different from the monitor to real life, I suggest going with white if you are after a specific color match.

Returns:
Please contact me within 5 days after receipt and let me know you are returning an item. Returns are paid for at the buyers' expense, all US returns must be returned within 5 days of receipt.

EU and International buyers will have 14 days to decide and buyer pays all shipping expenses to return. Please include insurance, proof of shipping and email me the track number. If a package is lost or returned damaged without insurance, a refund will not be issued.
Once your return is received, I will send a refund for the product, minus the shipping and insurance because the shipping carrier used will not refund them to me.
Payment
I accept credit card payments through Paypal and direct checkout through Etsy.
Shipping
Your order will come wrapped in bubble wrap then wrapped in brown packing paper all around for safe travel. If this is a gift let me know and I will add a message for the recipient at no extra charge. Just let me know whom to say it is from.

US: I ship ceramics by USPS Priority mail 2-3 days service. I ship T-shirts by USPS First Class mail 3-7 days service.

International: Most affordable rate for 4 lbs or less: First Class International estimated 9-21 days service ( can be longer depending on if it travels by plane or boat and customs status) There is No tracking, We have to have good faith that everything is good and it will arrive.

If your order weighs over 4 lbs it then ships by Priority mail: Priority mail is estimated to be 7-9 business days. Any weight package can ship this method. Just let me know if you like this service and I will email you the rates. It comes with delivery confirmation.

Please note: International orders the time frames are only estimates and no guarantees. Once I drop your order off at the post office there is no way for me to track the status once the package leaves the US. Only proof of shipment.
Additional policies and FAQs
Due to some people being unaware that customs duties, VAT, export fees and post office handing charges exist. I wanted to make sure you did so there were no surprises when your order arrives.

Disclaimer for International orders:

Buyers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes to receive the package. They are not included and may be owed to your country to import. If a package comes back to me as unclaimed, I can only refund for the product and not the shipping cost.
Please check your countries post office website for any fees that may be required before purchasing.

Some countries exclude these fees for certain dollar amounts, best to know what those dollar amounts are before you purchase.

UK / EU Customs duty and Import VAT (7 % or 21 %) may be due

UK / EU buyers there may be a Royal Mail handling charge along with the VAT.

I ship worldwide so there is no way I know what each countries shipping policies are. I just wanted to give you a heads up because all the hidden fees could be costly and make you rethink a purchase. Please check before purchasing.
