About

Our love for Art and Antiques started our Passion For Creating Jewelry Together

Artist Statement:

Amy and Matt Palmer combined their creative talents in 2010 and began creating jewelry together. Amy offers over 20 years of experience as a jewelry artist and Matt has a degree in fine art which he has applied to many mediums throughout his life. Their creations express a shared desire to conserve resources and reflect their passion for old things. The found objects inspire each piece in a new and exciting way so no two pieces are alike.

Body of Work Statement:

Our jewelry often makes a statement or tells a story; this might be obvious or maybe the name will give it away. Each piece is inspired by the materials we find and marry together, so the story unfolds as we go and continues to evolve as it is worn.

Materials and Techniques:

Salvaged metal comes from a world of resources. Some favorite items include: old aluminum and silver serving trays, musical instruments, industrial machinery, plumbing parts, nuts, bolts, hinges and much more. Vintage found objects are given a new purpose: broken watches and clock parts speak of the machine that drives our lives, camera lenses, tin signs, silverware and buttons come together to form a story which unfolds as the piece is created.
