This scarf is lovely. It was a Christmas gift and it looked lovely on the person I gave it too.

This item shipped on time, arrived according to description, and is all-around delightful! It was a Christmas-gift and well-received. The only thing I would note for future buyers, as a reference point and not a minus, is that there is a difference in texture from one side to the other. One side is more soft/wooly and the other more finished, like there is a reverse side. This makes sense given the material, just thought I would note that.

Fibre Artist and Stay at Home Mama
A little about Fullenstar Studio...
My name is Carmen Halverson, I am a stay at home mom and a fiber artist. I grew up in Fargo, North Dakota but now live in Chicago with my husband and two children.
I became interested in all things fiber many years ago when my son was born. I started knitting first and quickly became a “yarn snob” wanting only to handle natural fibers. Knitting was my gateway into felting, I began loose knitting very large pieces and fulling(shrinking) them in my washing machine. As soon as I laid my hands on raw wool fiber, I was hooked.
I felted my first scarf in 2007 and scarves have been my focus since then. I love that scarves are truly wearable art, many of my customers have commented that they are unsure if they should wear them or if they should hang them on a wall.
The natural materials are always my inspiration. I try to use artisan blended wool whenever possible, and I hand dye each piece of silk used in my nuno felted scarves. My tools are simple, I use bubble wrap, environmentally friendly soap, lemon juice, hot water, and hours of physical labor.
